One of my favorite new lures from yo- Zuri. Very versatile and works well especially in the back bays/rivers. Caught a few striped bass one night when nothing else worked. The only issue is the treble hooks. I swapped them out with single hooks so it wouldn ’ t get tangled up in the net/cause injuries to me as well as the fish.

When it comes to deep sea fishing, the best lures are typically those that mimic the natural prey found in deeper waters. This includes lures that are designed to create movement and flash, attracting larger fish. Common types include jigs, spoons, and soft baits, each offering unique features to entice various species.
Deep sea fishing lures are often made from durable materials that can withstand harsh saltwater conditions. Common materials include high-quality plastics, metal, and rubber, which provide both resilience and realistic movement in the water. The choice of material can affect the lure's buoyancy and action, making it crucial for targeting specific fish.
Choosing the right color for deep sea fishing lures can significantly impact your success. Bright colors tend to work well in murky waters, while more natural hues are effective in clear conditions. It's also beneficial to consider the time of day and the specific species you are targeting, as different fish may respond better to certain colors.
When selecting deep sea fishing lures, look for features that enhance their effectiveness, such as realistic movement, reflective surfaces, and the ability to mimic prey. Additionally, consider lures with built-in rattles or sound elements, as these can attract fish from greater distances. The design should also be suited for the depth and type of fish you are targeting.
Yes, different species of fish in deep sea environments often require specific types of lures to increase your chances of a catch. For example, some lures are designed to target larger predatory fish, while others may be more effective for smaller species. Understanding the behavior and feeding habits of the fish you are targeting can help you select the most suitable lure.
Using lures effectively in deep sea fishing involves understanding the right techniques for presentation and retrieval. Varying your retrieval speed and incorporating pauses can mimic the movement of prey, making your lure more enticing. Additionally, experimenting with different depths and locations can help you find where fish are actively feeding.
