It's simple and just the right weight for me and the casting line I use. I think you should have a package with different weight sizes to use. But over all good product.

I bought a 2pk of these practice weights for my 9yr old son. He wants to learn on a baitcaster& these weights allow him to practice in the backyard over the winter so that he's ready for spring fishing. So far they 've held up good with all the casts hes made& seem heavy duty& reliable.

Bought these plugs to teach the kids how to cast without anyone getting `` hooked ''. Took awhile for them to get the hang of it but everyone survived. Brought back memories of my mom teaching us. Perfect weight for sending it a distance.

Badass Bass Fisherman
Used to use Tiny/Baby Torpedos and thought I had the killer lures for bass on my favorite water. Have n't had the success I wanted lately as the propellers did n't always spin. Last summer I watched a video on Youtube of a guy killing smallies with a `` Whopper Plopper '' so I decided to give one a try. I bought the 90 perch and 90 pac- man. First afternoon out with these lures I caught 10 bass. That was my best day ever on this water. Two were 3 lbs plus; all were respectable sizes.( See picture) Just purchased three more: Bluegill, Frog, and 28 Bluegill. Gon na buy the T1000 and Chub( Yoda) next. May go up a size to see if they produce even bigger fish. Ca n't wait till the spawn to kill 'em again!!!!

Fishing plugs are artificial lures designed to mimic the movement and appearance of baitfish or other prey in the water. They are typically made from materials such as plastic or wood and are equipped with hooks to catch fish. When retrieved through the water, fishing plugs create action that attracts fish, making them an essential tool for anglers.
Fishing plugs can be effective for a wide variety of fish species, including bass, trout, pike, and salmon. The effectiveness of a plug often depends on its design, color, and action, which can be tailored to mimic the natural prey of specific fish. Anglers often choose different plugs based on the target species and fishing conditions.
Yes, fishing plugs can be used in both freshwater and saltwater environments. However, it is important to select plugs that are specifically designed for the type of water you are fishing in, as saltwater plugs may have different materials and corrosion-resistant features compared to freshwater plugs. Understanding the environment will help you choose the right plug for your fishing needs.
When selecting a fishing plug, consider factors such as the type of fish you are targeting, the water conditions, and the time of year. Additionally, the size, color, and action of the plug can greatly influence its effectiveness. Experimenting with different styles can help you determine what works best in your fishing location.
To effectively use fishing plugs, it's important to vary your retrieve speed and technique to mimic the natural movement of prey. Start with a steady retrieve and then incorporate pauses or twitches to create an erratic action that can trigger strikes. Pay attention to the water conditions and adjust your technique accordingly for optimal results.
