I have several of these rods both baitcasting and spinning. For the price they are a very good product. Do n't blame the rod for the inability to cast for distance or accuracy. It takes a good combination of rod, reel and line. I use them for Snakehead fishing and have never had a problem yanking them out of the junk.

Alot of complaints about the eyes not holding up but I have n't had any issues yet. I am new to salmon fishing and I wanted a pole that could handle a King Salmon. My son and I both used this combo last week spooled with 14 lb. fluorocarbon and we were both able to land a tackle busting King Salmon using them. It had line going under the spool while reeling back and wasted lot of time trying to fix it and the ant reverse broke after using it for two days straight fishing.
