This is my 9th white Bird rod and it's specs are definitely more accurate than the 7' and 7' 4 '' model. The 7' 4 ''s were intended for flipping but are to parabolic and are now my best crankbait rods I have. This 7' 6 '' has alot of backbone but 2 feet of the tip has a slight amount of forgiveness but is not flimsy.

I am new to salmon fishing and I wanted a pole that could handle a King Salmon. My son and I both used this combo last week spooled with 14 lb. fluorocarbon and we were both able to land a tackle busting King Salmon using them. I own a lot of high end rods, and these Duckett rods are great. I am not sure what the other guy did to break one, but I have hooked some HUGE fish and had zero problems.
