Got fit for this driver and bought it. Per the results of my fitting, I have the settings down to a 9. 5° loft(- 1° draw setting), and have the 12g weight in the heel and the 3g weight in the back of the club. During my very first round, my slice is nearly gone. My drives are flying much straighter. But the biggest improvement I saw was the misses are nowhere near as bad. Instead of huge slices, the Cobra Darkspeed Max minimizes those greatly to baby fades that miss just right of the fairway in the first cut if you do happen to miss right. Very happy with the results after just one round. I ’ m going to invest in the Cobra Darkspeed Fairway Woods& Hybrid as well.

I recently purchased a xxio 13 driver with a stiff shaft. I hit it great at the demo but not so much after:-) I saw this driver on sale because it was last years model and I have played Cobra before so I bought it after reading some reviews. This thing is amazing! I read reviews that said it was n't forgiving, boy are they wrong. I am a 21 handicap and I have had a few mishits and the ball still flies straight and long. I am also impressed with the Lin Q shaft it is easy to swing and it really stable. On top of that it looks awesome and sets up nice at address. If you looking for a great driver look no further.

I 've only had the driver for a couple of weeks and I 'm still dialing it in. I had been playing with a 11- year- old TaylorMade driver and thought it was time for an upgrade. There might be a little bit extra distance on the new driver, but it is hard to say because I have n't played with it enough to get everything set the way I would like. On my first trip to a driving range and prior to making adjustments to weights I had an unusual for me hook. Once I got the weights properly placed, I was able to get that straightened back out. I tried a lot of the 2022 drivers in varying lofts and specs, and have always been a PING loyalist, but needed something more exciting and powerful. The LTDx was on my list, but spun a bit high for me. “ Concerned with what might happen, ” the fitter handed me the LS model with the Smoke IM10 5. 5 and we quickly agreed that, even though my swing speed was only around 90mph, this setup was performing very well for me. Carry distance was 30+ yards more than I was getting from the G425 Max. Having now played a round with it and had it on the range a few times, I ’ m floored by how the LTDx LS is performing for me. Never before have I been rewarded for trying to pound the absolute snot out of a golf ball. Over the last tear and a half I have been switching drivers and shafts to find something that can keep my spin and launch in check but also deliver consistency. This is the first driver that has done that for me. I was playing the paradym triple diamond before this and while it kept spin low it would also have left hooks that died out of the air if i was even a fraction into the high toe side. This cobra driver if I catch it in the toe the spin still stays in the 1800- 2000 and holds the line reasonably well. This is definitely the best most forgiving low spin driver i have tried.

I had the G400 for 4 years and last year `` upgraded '' to a Calloway Epic Max. Was not the upgrade I was hoping for so I was back this year shopping drivers. Tried a bunch of different drivers a couple months ago and I hit the TSR4 the best by far which was surprising because it ’s supposed to be the least forgiving of the Titleist drivers. It ’s been longer and more accurate than my TSI2. On average it ’s about 15 yards longer due to lower spin and my longest drives are about 25- 30 yards farther than my longest drives with the TSI2.

I received the Srixon ZX5 LS MKII Driver for Christmas 2023. I have been using it for two months and I love it. The all Titanium head has a great sound and feel. I get a lot of carry from the LS model and when the ball lands it bounds forward with plenty of roll out. The driver is plenty forgiving, too. This driver is fantastic. I have fought a fade/slice for over 55 years. Now at 72, with this driver, I do n't even have to think about going right. It's straight to a baby draw every time. No more trying to manipulate the club head, just get up there and swing it. The extra yardage does n't hurt either. Thanks Ping.

Exactly as advertised. Like most high handicappers I have a right miss and far to often the slice OB. Taking penalties strokes out of the tee box is a killer as I 've made improvements in the rest of my game. Not to mention the embarrassment. This club has absolutely taken the curvature out of my drive. I still tend to miss right more often than not but it stays in play. A lot of that is set up/alignment for me as I used to have to play for my slice. When I do find the center of the face, it flies as far as any non draw bias club I 've owned. On top of the performance this club sounds amazing. A muted `` thwack '' is how I would describe it. Feel is great too. You can tell where on the club your hitting it but it feels buttery soft no matter what. It's also nice to know as I improve with driver( hopefully), I can slide the weight from Draw plus to Draw. Looking forward to a full season with this bad boy.

Purchased this club and was able to use it for a few rounds before the courses closed for the season. Fast two day delivery. I was hitting a Calloway XR Driver, the Srixon was an easy adjustment and I added about 10- yds to my drive. Forgiving and straight. Very pleased with the product. I bought this driver after testing out 16 drivers. I love the feel and how the ball comes off the face. With my old driver I was consistently carrying about 225 or 230 and rolling out to 250 on my best day. With this I consistently carry 255- 260 and roll out at 270- 285. I am straighter and longer with this driver.

For the last 5 years I have been using a Cleveland Launcher( MFG date 2003?) and I hit it extremely well. My golf buddy recently bought a Cobra F9 and asked me to try it and to my astonishment I drove the ball farther with his club than I do with my own club SO I started looking for a newer driver. This Srixon looked like it was the closest match to the Cleveland Launcher. I was a little concerned when it arrived because the shaft is stiffer than the Fukishira stiff shaft on my Launcher but, those concerns disappeared the very first drive I used this Srixon on- my golf league started on the back 9 and I nearly drove the 10th hole!! That first drive was right on the sweet spot. Other drives that weren ’ t quite on the sweet spot were still impressive. Tee the ball high( I use marked blue tees) and you won ’ t be disappointed.

Best club ever. I used to be a 17 handi cap and after 2 rounds i became scratch. I used to average 192. 5 yd drives now i hot 403. 5 yards every time because of this club. I strongly advise this club to everyone. Ping has done it again folks!

I 've been playing my G425 max since 2020 and I have loved the driver. It's seen i better days looks wise as of now, so I went looking at other drivers and ordered another G425 max last week.
