It is very well made It comes with a carrying bag which is nice, we also like that the poles to this tent stay attached and had a little Velcro strap that keeps them all together, there is a nylon cover for the top of the the tent to prevent rain from entering. It also provides adequate room for up to 6 people to sleep comfortable It holds a big queen size air mattress easily and it stays pretty dark. [ I am absolutely ecstatic about my 6- Person Dark Room Skydome Camping tent in blue that I purchased a month ago! This was the best purchase I 've me in a long time! The room in it is beyond words! It's 6 foot tall in the middle and can sleep 6. It was so easy to set up and take down. There was plenty of room for our whole family and it's so durable. It even has a cover for rain and you can tie it down in case the weather gets bad. My children and my basset hound had the absolute best time camping and because this tent was so durable and easy to set up and take down, we had lots of time to enjoy our little vacation. We have decided to take another camping trip soon and ca n't wait to use it again. My son has some health issues and this tent has Dark Room Technology which blocks 90% of the sunlight and reduces heat in the tent, which makes it better for people that have issues with the heat. This works amazingly too, because my son stayed cool and we were able to enjoy our trip because of this. It's also been designed and tested for storm conditions, which helps me breath much easier knowing we are safe. The amount of room in this tent is unlike any tent I have ever seen. [ We are so very happy with our family ’s new tent! We are a family of four but if you are familiar with the camping world, a tent made for four is not actually super comfortable for four humans! I like to have some room between beds/bags and whatnot rather than be piled on top of one another. This tent is actually so generously sized I think, depending on individual sizes, it could possibly sleep 10+! And I LOVE it! It ’s like they were actually considering campers ’ personal affects in the design which is so refreshing. I also love the dark room technology. It is absolutely fabulous and really makes the tent feel so calming at any time of day. Not much is worse than wanting to sleep in a bit to the blazing sun in your eyes at 6 am. Cons: It did take closer to 30 minutes to assemble, and it was frustrating that it didn ’ t easily fit back into the bag after disassembly. But this seems to be the case of pretty much every tent manufacturer ever. Tentmakers, if you are listening, why oh why can ’ t you make the bag just slightly larger than the tent?! But I digress. We have used this tent for a couple of years now and still love it. Once we got the hang of it, set up was much easier. We place a tarp underneath to protect the floor, as well as some plastic sheeting on top of the flooring. I think this will increase the life of the flooring. We 've weathered some big storms and have remained leak proof. We are able to fit 3 cots in the main area, and two slim twin sized blow up mattresses in the bed of our van, thus we can sleep 5 fairly comfortably. This was an excellent start- up tent for new campers.

Set up& tear down are simple& intuitive and take only about 20 min. if you take your time. The tent itself is very spacious and easy to connect to the vehicle. It fits our vintage station wagon very nicely. Quality of workmanship and materials appears to be a little better than average, but not rugged. After unfolding the tent the second time we did notice some marring on one of the screens, apparently from the plastic pole sockets. Be sure to use the protective bags that go over these hard plastic pieces before folding for storage. Also while folding, I reached for a corner on the screen room& got only the tarp- like edging that borders the bottom seam& it tore away at the edge a little. Again, not really the fault of the manufacturer, just another area where you need to be carful when setting up& tearing down. To sum up, it is a great product, well designed and easy to use, but its not fool proof.

Long time camper here. Very first trip in it, we had powerful storms and flooding at the campground and not a single drop of water in the tent. It has rained each time we 've used it and we 've never had a single drop of water inside. dry every time. I 'm a middle aged female putting this tent up and down by myself with ease in under 5 minutes. Fits my queen size frame in bed, and all three grandkids on mattresses with plenty of room for gear. It's large and heavy. Definitely only for car camping, but the bag has wheels so that helps. If you are on the fence about this tent absolutely go for it!

This tent showed up just in time to load it up and head to the mountains. My first time setting it up was in the dark with some rain... and it was really fast and easy. Large enough for queen air mattress with plenty of extra space. The poles are pretty beefy, and the whole tent once set up with guy lines is very sturdy. I have two large dogs that appreciated the huge vestibule while it was raining. There was very little condensation inside the tent throughout the night. Over all a very functional and well made tent. I highly recommend getting the footprint or using a tarp as the floor seems a little too thin to be directly sitting on top of sticks and other debris. Well done kelty!

[ I was originally somewhat skeptical about this purchase as there are so few reviews online, and a couple questionable. I must say after our first trip with it( Colorado, 10k elevation, 30• nights) we love it! It seems very well made- sturdy fabric and the seams are sealed. Was comfortable for our 3 person family( with bags for 5 nights of camping), though admittedly may have been a bit snug for 4. I found the front vestibule to be very functional- we ended up using it to house our group for a game of cards during a heavy rain the last night of our 5 night trip. I purchased the matching footprint and there was absolutely no condensation or leakiness inside the tent despite it raining on and off during our stay, and then pretty heavily/consistently for a few hours our last night. Only used it 5 days and nights so far, but it worked really well for us- highly recommend!

The guy lines can be rolled up into the attached sleeves when not in use. Included stakes are heavy duty. The front porch awning wins the day as a stow area for gear or as a covered area to hang out. Initially I wondered how the tent would breath with just the one small vent, but the rain fly stakes out nicely creating airflow( not to mention the ventilation options provided by front awning system). The tent easily fits back into the included carrying pack- no wrestling required. Cons: the front zipper is really tight and requires two hands to zip( may just be my tent, idk). After researching tents for about two years( seriously! I read reviews on everything out there), I finally decided on this one and so far I could n't be happier with my purchase. I just returned from camping in this tent with two other adults for four nights. We all agreed that it's just the right size for four unrelated adults with all their gear( i. e. friends who would prefer not to sleep 6 inches from each other's faces); for the three of us, it was luxuriously spacious. I sprayed the tent and rainfly with waterproofing prior to the trip. We experienced two heavy thunderstorms and the tent did n't leak a single drop and the overhang of the rainfly even enabled us to keep the windows cracked. While it's not a bathtub- style floor, the seams are double- sewn in a way that makes leaks where the floor meets the wall nearly impossible. We appreciated the spacious gear pouches along the walls; the gear loft overhead is too high in the air to be able to easily reach to put gear up there( the center height of this tent is about 86 ''!) but the lantern hook is great. There are other thoughtful touches in the tent's design, as well, including air vents along the floor and fabric that covers the door zipper to prevent rain leaks. The significant number of windows ensured a well- ventilated tent that was bearable even when getting pummeled with midday direct sun. Set- up takes about 45 minutes; it's not hard but there are a number of steps. I think it will get a little faster as I get more familiar with the tent. I definitely would n't be able to set this tent up alone. All in all, it's comfortable, well made, and kept me dry.

As a frequent beach goer, I have tried many types of umbrellas/tent for sun protection such as Cool Cabana, Tommy Bahama and Shibumi. By far, Sun Ninja is the best product to date. Between the consistent sun coverage, UV protection and height of the poles, it is a no brainer purchase. The setup and takedown of the Ninja is extremely simple, as well as the compact storage provided. Even on windy days, we have not had issues with this umbrella staying put- as long as you fill the sandbags plus some. The number of complements and requests for links we have received on the beach is more than any product we have used. Hopefully, Sun Ninja comes out with additional beach products to add to our collection!

It rained both nights and the second night was a storm like I had never seen before. It rained really hard for several hours, totally filling a 4 inch pot that was sitting outside. We were dry in our tent with only a very small amount of water coming in and most of it was near the door. We were very pleased with how the tent performed and would buy again. A larger storm flap, especially over the door would be a nice addition. So for all the reviews of people complaining about the tent leaking, please be realistic, if it is raining while you are camping, water is going to get into your tent, if it leaks like a sieve that ’s a different issue, maybe you have the tent set up in a bad area, if you have maybe a 1/4 cup of water in your tent after a rain storm that dropped 4 inches of water in about 3 hours, you have a good tent. Got my tent a couple weeks ago. Took it out camping last week for 5 days. First night going into the next morning Thunderstorms. Rained all night. Tent performed perfect. Next day was really high winds for about half the day, and again issues. Set up was a breeze. Took seriously like 5 minutes to set up if that. The integrated lights though was the icing on the cake. [ Was looking for a car camping tent, larger and more comfortable than the backpacking tent I 've had for ages. The DogHouse would sleep 2 very comfortably, you could sleep 4 if you do n't mind being a sardine. Steep sided walls gives the tent a very spacious feel. I could erect and take down the tent solo, but did struggle a bit the first time I pitched the tent to insert the tent pole into the final grommet. Also took me a while to figure out how to get the horizontal top pole out of the snap when breaking the tent down. Overall, the tent erected pretty quickly and easily in subsequent uses after the fabric stretched out a bit. Good ventilation, beefy stakes, seems to be a strong, stable tent, certainly fine for summer camping, probably 3 season. Worst conditions I 've been in are moderate wind and rain overnight, and the tent shed water no problem. I 'm assuming the fabric has a DWR coating, and it's unclear how long the waterproofing would last. I did not buy the ridiculously expensive footprint, just used a tarp close to the correct size and that worked fine. Tent material did catch in the zipper when zipping open or close the door. I wonder if anyone has solved this though.

I bought this tent long before the pandemic and have taken it car camping 2- 3 times a year since. I have found that sort of rolling it up and leaning on it with your body weight at the end works. I do n't think I 'll ever go back to the traditional pole tent set up. Favorite part of this tent is the mesh ceiling. If the forecast is dry, you can leave the rainfly off and look at the stars. After about a dozen times camping, during a windstorm, one of the pole connections broke and we 've had to hobble together a solution, but we 've taken it camping still at least 4- 5 more times since. P. S. It's pretty waterproof, but you really need to stake it well for the rain to go where you want it to. Also, because of the slanted walls, you do n't want your air mattress touching the sides during the rain either.

We 've used this tent a few times and really like it. This weekend we had a heavy rain for about 8 hrs and the only leak was where the electric cord came in through the port... very little water. The only thing that could be improved with this tent is putting it back in the bag... it's a bit difficult. Also note when it's packed up it's very long and may not be able to be fit in a car. We have a Ford Escape and had to put the seat down to fit it in.

We have camped for 25 years, starting with a green canvas Coleman cabin tent aka the green monster sweatbox, and stayed with their products for most of that time. Then we were given a great cabin tent with an entry way, or foyer, as my daughter- in- law called it, and it was a nice tent. The setup was a bit of a challenge, but the entry way seperate from actual living space was awesome. Then a pole broke, a few wear holes appeared and it was time to go. This new Core cabin tent is the best upgrade, as the entry way has privacy panels to allow for extra sleeping space or to be inside when it's bad weather. And the cabin space is enough for a queen size air mattress, two small tables and our gear with plenty of floor space to move around. The set up, once we did it once at home, took less than fifteen minutes from bag to finish. Looking forward to many more fun trips with this tent. Customer service is awesome as well, we ordered a screen house, although functional, had stains from shipping or production, and they have replaced it at no cost. More products from Core will be part of our gear supply!

Only thing I wish they made, was a fitted footprint for it as I had to use a tarp instead. But overall, I 'm very happy with this tent.

We bought this tent from your website and it is very nice so far. we set it up in the back yard once to get familiar with the tent and the setup steps. good thing we did, when we went camping the following weekend, the incoming storm looked strong. We put the tent up fast since we had done it once already, as I was setting the guy lines the hail started I only got 4 set before the hail was too large... pea sized to begin with the storm raged for well over 45 minutes, the hail grew to BASEBALL sized! we stood in the corners to help hold it down to the wind... we could see the hail pummeling the tents rain fly. After the hail finally stopped we dealt with the flash flooding. The damage to the tent was a 1- 2 inch tear in the rain fly on the right side. So is it possible to buy a replacement rain fly if needed? also one of the grey fiberglass poles does not hold tight together, its like the internal elastic cord is too long? other than that the tent is great, we love the screen room aspect and the way the windows open for venting, and our dog loves the ground level air intakes to keep cool. If you would like pictures we have pictures of the the tent up after the storm as well as the hail and the total aftermath. overall the tent is very strong, easy to set up, and good for us.

I could n't love this more. When. Im camping with a partner, having a `` stuff '' tent vs a sleeping tent is awesome. Makes the nights cozy and fun and keeps the area small enough to stay the right temperature but keeps our stuff nearby. When camping with a friend, we each get our own space and have chairs set up in the middle for morning coffee. The set up is a bit comicates, as opposed to normal tents, but that's to be expected. It's not hard, just requires a bit of thought as it's different. This would be a great tent for small families enabling a kid tent and a parents tent, just know the two sides are n't huge so would n't be great for people who bring a lot of stuff they want to keep with them in the tent. My only complaint is that I wish it came with a couple color options. I like reds, yellows and oranges for the color of the morning light when I wake up, but brown is better than green so it's ok:)

Camping with a family of 4 on a rainy weekend put this to the test. We loved having our own tents, within the tent. Camping with just two adults had plenty of shelter under the vestibule. Even used this as a lunch shelter at a Girl Scouts field day, using just the fly. Worth the price tag. My only `` negative '' feedback is that I think this should be sold with the foot print and the 2 extra poles to make an awning.

Excellent tent for camping with a family. My wife and I typically camp to ride, so we have weighed whether this setup could be used for MotoCamping. For our smaller middle weight ADVs that might be a tall order. Possibly doable on something the size of a GS1300 or Pan America. For now it makes an ideal tent for car and truck camping. This was our 4 year old's and our dog's first camping trip. I truly envy their ability to sleep the whole night. My wife and I slept on one side while our child and dog slept on the other. The vestibule made for easy day to day load outs and occasional drying of clothes. Convertibility is an awesome option as you can opt to use just one tent to have a larger vestibule which could potentially be used to cover motorcycles, but realistically would be more suited for bicycles. It could potentially be mounted on a bicycle pannier if rearranged. Just pay attention to your pole placement, they are long which means they could be easily bent in a fall. I would note that despite the site photos there are no poles to hold up the door flap.

We just got back from ten days in Yellowstone, and this tent made the trip fantastic! We usually bring a six- person tent for our family, but this fit the four of us perfectly. We are four adults. Each tent is big enough for two regular sleeping pads. We fit an Exped MegaMat with a Big Agnes Boundary in one tent, with only minor overlap. The space was amazing. We were able to hang a small clothesline across one door for towels. The tent made it through a couple big rainstorms with no issues. The temps outside got into the 30s, and the tent remained fine. This is definitely a car camping tent, but it packed in much nicer than our old tent. We bought the optional footprint, which I think should just be included. It makes setup and teardown a dream. It kept everything very clean. We got a lot of compliments in the campground!

We were looking for a tent that would replace our Chimney Creek 4 mtnGLO tent. Our kids are 10 and 7 and we have a new puppy and our 4 person tent was getting a bit tight. We took the Wyoming Trail 4 out on our first camping trip of the summer to the WA coast and it worked really well. The tent sets up pretty easy once you have done it once and figure out where the poles go and which ones go on top and bottome of each other. Very intuitive color coding of clips which makes setting up the raincover very straight forward. We loved the space in the large vestibule as we set up a chair and small table inside it and were able to also have a dog bed for our puppy to sleep in at night. I think we may have even convinced some friends with kids that were with us to think about getting the same tent! I think the only issue would be the size of the footprint of the tent. It is very long and it could be a tight fit in certain campsites.

I put a queen size mattress( 80x60) in it and still had enough room to walk around it while standing( I 'm 5'8 '' and had 2 feet on the right and 2 feet on the bottom around the mattress to walk around). If you are looking for a true 6- person tent this, is it. The zippers are really high quality just need to go slow getting in an out as they can snag on the material just like any other tent. The rain fly and tent material is really nice waterproofing, feels like 15K. Be aware that Big Agnes currently does not sell extra tent poles to put up the shelter and the tent at the same time. Also, make sure to buy the Footprint( its not included), it adds longevity to the bottom of the tent and is necessary for the shelter to set up by itself.

You can see the stars without the mesh and easily pull back the rain fly, and leave attached. There's so much space! I have been looking for a new camping tent forever. Being a bit of a penny pincher I had been burning through one cheap tent after another. I recently got the Limestone for an weekend camping trip and I love. It was rainy and windy all weekend but my tent stayed bone dry. More than that, I could actually stand in this tent and the walls being so vertical I could actually fit my wife and two kids in it without us rolling over each other all night. [ Had the chance to spend 5 nights in the 4P Limelight in Voyagers National Park recently. This tent replaced an old 3P Eureka I had for many years. The ease of set up for this tent given the size was amazing! Was super easy to setup with one person and could only imagine how quick it would go up with two! Really love the space inside this tent. The pre- bent poles offered a lot of space inside and the addition of the clothes line was great for drying out a few shirts that i left out overnight( dewy). The part I like most are the two doors- the larger door made it easy to bring all my gear in, no tripping over people, bags, etc to get in or out and the vestibule had the perfect amount of space to keep all our shoes dry too! [ The tent is really well designed and made. I used it for the first time, all is as described. It's lightweight, easy for me to put up alone, including the rainfly. The zippers seem really strong, no extra flaps to get caught. Seams are strong, along with the clothesline and pockets. It's well ventilated but yet I was very warm and dry- 50- 60 degree nights The space between the rainfly and the door is a bit small for me. Took some bending over to get in and out as you unzip the fly, then unzip the tent, and if you 're carrying something, it's harder. A little bit of coordination and all worked. There is n't privacy if you leave the rainfly flap up as the tent is all screen. I used it as a leader tent for a scout trip so privacy is a must. I think that it actually will keep everything very dry and not a deal breaker for me. Overall, excellent tent.

Have gone on one trip with the tent and it did fantastic. Did a run through before hand and all equipment was included and no holes, etc with the tent. Did not have any leaks during the two storms we had that lasted a few hours each. Did not have heavy winds so can not comment on wind durability. Was a very warm and humid trip and tent stayed comfortable with all of the screen/window options. Overall great experience so far…and it fit back into the original bag!

We just got home from our five day camping trip and I feel like we lived thru it all! Winds, heavy thunderstorms, and damp days in the mountains of VA. This tent is a 10/10 and I am impressed. Get the tarp to lay under it for sure! We started in the 70s and the vents were wonderful. Storms came and we zipped in tight, with the bottom keeping moisture out and the fly keeping us dry. The setup took minutes and the inside was spacious for two full size beds and a table. This tent is amazing and the vestibule was such a bonus for shoes. Can ’ t rave enough on its durability.

I did a trial run with this tent today and it look me around 35 minutes to set up next time it will go a lot easier knowing what I am supposed to do and I did it alone. The rain cover on the tent seems like it will do a great job. The tent was spacious enough for 6- 8 people. It has a slot in the tent for an electrical cord which is so convenient. It seems to be well made and will last a while. Can ’ t wait to start camping in it!

This product is made with quality material. I like that the tent poles that go from sode to side are color coded in orange. Makes it much easier to build. The clips for the tent poles are better than sliding the poles theough a sleeve. It took only 15- 20 min to build. Fits about easlitly 6 people easily.

First and foremost, I want to start off with how great the actual bag is! The bag is very roomy, and you will never have to worry about everything fitting. Has a Top that rolls and clamps down when finished. The tent itself is very simple to put up two of us about 15 minutes, but we are very experienced campers. The polls are very easy to assemble and attach. The tent stitching is nice seems very secure. The overall quality of the tent is very nice and very roomy. Easy to put up, take down and package and put away.

Bought this tent a few weeks before heading to Wind River and Cirque of the Towers. Packs small and light, and was easy to set up and had plenty of room for two. Everything needed in a tent to keep my load light without giving up anything. Wish it came with the seams sealed, but I knew that going in and it was n't that difficult or time consuming.

As a long- time admirer of the Bibler I- tent, the Firstlight was a no- brainer for me. Love this tent. To the reviewer that commented on using it on Vancouver Island- yes, the coast will always be a difficult proposition for a single- wall tent; some my least comfortable/most clammy/cold/condensation- riddled nights have been spent up on Forbidden Plateau on the Island- in double- wall tents such as a Trango Assault. For the Rockies though( cold/dry) this tent is just about perfect( it should come factory seam- sealed though!). It ’s useable on the coast, but I just know to lower my expectations somewhat.

Have you ever had a piece of gear that just makes you smile when it reminds you of the great memories you 've had with it? That is what the Chogori does for me. It has been great for solo overnight ski tours, and comfortable for two when doing a weekend outing with my wife. Setup could n't be easier. The tent is spacious enough for 2- although the 2p tent maybe lacks a little bit of head room, but I 'm not complaining. The structure of the tent is solid. I 've had this up in pretty high winds and it was confidence inspiring for me. It's not the lightest tent I have, but the tradeoff for strength and livability are 100% worth the extra couple of pounds.

Needed a Good Tent
I got this tent for a winter kayaking trip through the Grand Canyon, and it just happened to be a year of atmospheric rivers. I had tons of days and nights of rain storms, wind storms, and even snow. This tent was just awesome. It's easy to set up and really feels high quality. It held up to all the elements and kept me dry and warm. Lots of space and lots of convenience features, like pockets, door flap ties, and stuff like that. I only had a condensation issue on one night out of 26, when the temperature change from early evening to morning was really crazy. I was a bit wary of spending so much money for a tent, but it was worth it.

Brought the Chogori 4p for two people on an 18- day human- powered ski expedition on the Southern Patagonian Icefield. Interior: We were hauling 100lb+ pulks, so the extra weight of the 4p( no longer available online) was well worth the weight for the space. We originally planned to have a third team member, but he could n't make it because of an injury. As it were, the 4p version was perfect for an expedition with two people where space= sanity. We had plenty of room for stretching out, prepping food, and drying gear during endless storm days. And thank god for all the pockets and a large vestibule that was perfect for cooking, melting snow into water, and putting on/ taking off boots. Exterior: The only way to describe the weather we encountered for the vast majority of our 18 days was, well... Patagonian. We received 100+ km/h winds daily and more than two meters of snowfall during the expedition, and the Chogori performed as admirably as could be possible in such conditions. `` Bend do n't break '' became our rallying call for the tent as any structure will sag and contort when subjected to such conditions, yet the Chogori held strong through it all. A few poles bent slightly from constant pressure( the infamous Patagonian W and NW wind+ windswept snow that accumulated> 50cms every night for days on end), but they never felt close to snapping.( For comparison, I saw a Samaya tent pole snap in half and tear the tent in far lighter conditions earlier this season.) We literally entrusted our lives to the durability of the Chogori, and I could n't be more stoked with its performance. If adverse alpine conditions are likely and space is necessary, this is the tent for you.

I 've been impressed with my Spicer Peak 6! It's very spacious and easily fits my young family of 5. It's hard to find a good quality tent with a full length rain fly. We live and camp in Alaska and we needed a tent that could keep us dry and happy no matter the weather. Definitely just a car camping tent, but one that will last us a lot time!

This tarp is big, well made. It was a bit windy setting up in the mountains. I suggest staking the Footprint down untill you get the tent up. It is larger then the 11 person tent so you have to fold in the sides to stake the tent down. You can use the extra length at the front of the tent for taking your shoes off prior to entering the tent, or for a doormat placement.
