I 've been gaming this 2 iron for the past month or so. Helps when I 'm on a tee box with a narrow fairway and my driver is too risky. Have n't had a complaint yet other than it does launch a little higher than I expected it too. May be a problem on windy days but I have n't had many windy days to test it out. Bought the new Elyte Irons recently and have played a few rounds and been to the range several times. So far i am happy with the overall performance of the irons. I am still dialing in the distances and accuracy of the shots. When I get the sweet spot, these fly. The mis- hits are pretty solid too, mostly shorter but still playable in most instances. I think once i get my swing and time in with these, they will be well worth the purchase. Great looking irons, nice weighting. Nice crisp sound off the face. Based on fitters recommendations, I went a bit more upright so I am struggling a bit in getting my chipping down as the different lie has affected the short game shots a bit.

I just got into golf about 9 mo. ago- I 'm currently a 27 hdcp, and struggled to hit my 7i 130- 140yds previously. I was looking to get out of my previous Callaway Edge box set that had graphite shafts. They became too light for me and I wanted to grow into a new set of irons as I navigate swing changes and proper technique. During my fitting I did n't have a specific brand in mind, to be honest these were n't even on my radar. After testing out 4- 5 brands it was a tight race between the Ping G440's and the Elyte's. I found the Elyte irons were exactly what I was looking for. They check all the boxes: look, feel, and sound great. These irons have a slimmer profile compared to most game improvement irons out there yet offer an insane amount of forgiveness. They definitely have a softer feel off the face, almost like they 're forged. I got my goal yardage from these clubs and it was a done deal after that. Ironically enough my set arrived a few hours before my first tee time of this early season. Quite the way to break in a new set of irons. They did GREAT on the course considering the actual course conditions for mid march Midwest weather. Most forgiving clubs with very HOT faces. I ’ m a bogie golfer who rarely makes ball contact on the sweet spot. These clubs way exceeded my expectations; my typical off- center hits still carry within about 85- 90% of expected yardage, which is still ~15- 30 yards further than my old irons. And when I do strike them flush, the ball flies off the face; like a bullet! I initially tested the lower cost Paradygm AI smoke irons, but these Elyte X irons are way longer and so much more forgiving; well worth the slightly higher price!

After taking a break from golf for about 25 years, only playing maybe one a year, I decided that it was time seeing as how I went to part time work after 31 years in my profession. After buying a set of Mavrik ’s and not being able to hit them after leaving the big box store, I went to a fitter with my mind made up with buying the 425 ’s and my local golf shop talked me into trying the 730 ’s and I am so glad he did. I ended up buying the 730 ’s 6- 50 degree and started playing them. All I can say is that I can hit them high, long( 10+ yards in every club), and straight. I ended up ordering the 5 iron to compliment my set as well as driver, 3 and 5 wood of the G730 Max ’s. I am now playing weekly with these and my game has improved significantly! I hope these irons don ’ t wear out anytime soon! If they do and Ping makes a better set of irons, if this is possible, I will definitely look into them but for now, I more than satisfied with the 730 ’s.

I bought these last summer and switched from a players iron set. Very happy and my mishits have imporved greatly. I dropped about 7 strokes off my iron play. I am now a believer that most weekend players could benefit with Super Game Improvement Irons. Do n't kid yourself. Your probably not as good as you think you are.

I just did a fitting today and the G730 was the winner( and the only club close to it was the G440). We tried the Alta Quick 45 shaft, which worked great( in my 60's and my top swing speed is around 75mph but often 70mph). But then we dropped to the Quick 35 and it was even better. I went from hitting my existing irons( QI but customized to 2 up and 2 strong) 120- 130 carry with a strong push to the right to hitting these 155 and straight/draw. My total distance was in the 170's, which I did n't think I 'd ever see again. They just seem to whip through the shot and the sound is perfect and I was hitting baby draws instead of way right. Honestly these were n't on my radar when I walked in for the fitting. I 'm glad the fitter brought this out to try. Only negative is they may not be the best looking irons but I could n't care less.- they are amazing and fit me perfectly.

Love the irons. I ordered custom irons with undersized grips and they were shipped with standard grips. I contacted Golf Galaxy, and they said I could take them to a Golf Galaxy store or a Dicks Sporting Goods, which was good because Dicks is nearby. The person that helped me was Alex at Dicks Sporting Goods in Macon, Ga and Alex was wonderful!! He replaced my grips on the spot with the correct ones!

I was using Cobra OL LTDx irons and I decided to go to the Titleist T350 set. I lost a little distance but the feel and forgiveness that I gained from the T350s is remarkable. I purchased my set with the Tensei red stripe graphite shafts and I also added the T350 wedge. The only thing I would change is that I wish the offset was a little less since I don ’ t struggle with slicing.

My local club had a Taylormade fitting day. They fitted me for this set as an upgrade from a 12- year- old Burner 2. 0 set. The ball jumps off the face so effortlessly that I do n't always feel like I hit it solidly, but then it is flying exactly where it should be. They look good, and do tend towards a draw bias in the longer clubs.

I purchased the Ping 430 driver about two months ago and WOW am I loving this club. I ’ m retired and I play once a week with two other gentlemen who are 10+ years older than me and I was constantly being embarrassed because they always out drove me until I bought this bad boy and now I hardly ever get out driven. I am a 7. 2 handicap. Hit these clubs and fell in love with them. They look fantastic and have a nice feel without the harsh sound that some hollow body clubs produce. They are strong lofted so they are about 7- 8 yards longer than my previous set but still have enough spin and height to stop on the greens. I was torn between this club and the T200 and considered go with a mixed bag but in the end decided to go with the full set of T350's. My dispersion and distance control have met all my expectations. One thing to keep in mind is if you like to work the ball in either direction this may not be the right club for you and I would look at the T150's. Spin numbers and descent angle are good but not in player club territory IMO.

I was thinking about getting the older T300 irons, but decided to do a fitting. At the fitting I was able to swing them as well as these, and I 'm glad I did. Ended up deciding on these, have played 3 rounds with them, and have already seen a big improvement in my iron play. I am still a higher handicap player, but these are the most forgiving irons I have hit, and it shows on the course. Would recommend to any other higher handicap player.

As always with TaylorMade, outstanding quality, a touch more distance with Qi ’s, mainly see more consistency performance wise. Hybrids are a game changer for me. I did a fitting in- store before buying these clubs, and there's a lot of great irons out there. We had it narrowed down to two brands, and I ended up going with these because they had a set in stock. After playing a few rounds, I 'm still really happy with my choice. What really strikes me about these clubs is that they are both forgiving and provide feedback. When I hit it perfect, it feels perfect. When I mishit though, the club feel and sound let me know it was a mishit, but the ball still flies to about where I was trying to get it. Honestly, it's the perfect combination for someone like me who is actively trying to improve but still wants to enjoy the game.
