I purchased this for my husband based on an electrician's Reddit discussion board. He's blind in one eye and is n't a spring chicken anymore, so he needs as much light as possible. `` Regular '' headlamps were n't cutting it. This one `` is amazing '', `` best I ever had '', and I see him wearing it for all his projects around the house. It seems well- made. I hope it lasts. I foresee us purchasing the rechargeable battery!

Recently bought 2 spot 400's for Scouting purposes. So far we are really happy, I like the dimming feature and the lock function keeps my son's light off in his day bag. We will be trying the rechargeable batteries next. My first Black Diamond purchase, but not my last.

I am pleased with my headlamp. I will be camping in Michigan in September looking for bigfoot. I feel confident my headlamp is up for the job and will not fail me.

I have been using cheap headlamps for years... finally invested in this product and it has changed the game. The lighting is incredible, the power tap feature is really cool, and the battery has been very reliable. It is also nice to start the day with a charge versus having throw- away battery powered lights and always wondering if you are going to have enough juice. Love it.

Having used many headlamps over the years—including the original Black Diamond Icon and all its upgrades—I can confidently say the Black Diamond Distant Headlamp stands out as a top- tier option. It ’s brighter and more versatile than most, with adjustable lighting modes and easy dimming to conserve battery life. The rugged, weatherproof design feels well- made, and I ’ m hoping the headband holds up better than previous models, where the straps failed too quickly. It ’s definitely on the expensive side, and the extra battery I purchased wasn ’ t cheap either. However, since I use a headlamp frequently, having a spare battery allows me to swap them out without downtime. If you need a high- performance headlamp and are willing to pay a premium for brightness, durability, and versatility, this one is worth considering.

I ’ ve always been a bit of a flashlight guy. As a kid I cost my dad a small fortune in D cells running down his baseball bat sized Maglite. I ’ ve been through more headlamps than I can count over the years. I picked up this particular one a few months ago and I have to say it has been by far the best headlamp I ’ ve ever had. The door fuel capability comes in handy, and the functions on this light are super useful and navigable. It ’s great to having the brightness memory as well as the powertap feature to be able to instantly switch to max and back. One feature that stands out is the way each mode dims/brightens. I haven ’ t seen that on a light before. It also seems a lot brighter than 450 lumens at max. If you ’ re looking for a good reliable headlamp I truly don ’ t think in any way you could go wrong with these. Hope this helps

The new Storm 450 is a really nice headlamp! I had to purchase this one to replace my Storm 400 that has a broken latch( no replacement part available). I hope the latch on this one lasts!

The Storm 450 is another great, lightweight, intuitive, inexpensive headlamp from BD. I 've relied on them for years and find all of their headlamps to be the best!

I spend months each year camping in wilderness areas. The Storm 450 is a very practical and easy to use piece of equipment, that just got better with the use of a rechargeable battery. Would n't want to be in the woods without it.

[ AWESOME! The EINSTEIN 750 Headlamp is amazing! I ’ ve used it multiple times and it has been a lifesaver! It ’s incredibly bright, lightweight, comfortable and stays in place. [ When I first saw this headlamp, I was a little confused at why the front was so small( I am used to a decent sized headlamp at the front) but they made it to where all of the weight is on the rear of the headstrap so that the headlamp doesnt leave a HUGE imprint on your head after you take it off. There are 4 brightness levels including a red light mode as well to help with bugs while being outside. Overall I highly recommend this! I used it to find some tools in my tool chest at night. Very bright and comes in handy! 10/10

[ Rating: 4. 5/5 Design& Comfort: The headlamp is lightweight and features an adjustable head strap that comfortably fits around your head, with a soft, padded band that prevents any discomfort during extended use. It also has a sleek, compact design that doesn ’ t feel bulky, making it easy to wear for long periods without strain. Brightness& Performance: The LED bulb is incredibly bright! It has multiple brightness settings, including a high beam( up to 500 lumens), a medium beam( 250 lumens), and a low beam( 100 lumens), which you can toggle depending on your needs. On the high setting, it easily lights up a path 100 meters ahead of you, which is perfect for hiking, running, or even working on tasks that need precise illumination. The light is even and doesn ’ t create harsh shadows, which is a nice touch. Battery Life: The rechargeable battery lasts a decent amount of time. On the highest setting, I get about 3- 4 hours of continuous use, which is impressive considering its power. On the lower settings, it can last up to 10 hours, making it ideal for longer outdoor adventures. The USB charging port is convenient, and the battery charges fairly quickly. Durability: I was pleased to find that the headlamp is waterproof( IPX4 rating), meaning it can handle rain and splashes. It held up well in light rain during my hiking trips without any issues. It also feels robust and can withstand drops without damaging the components, which is great for clumsy users like me. Ease of Use: The headlamp is easy to operate, with a simple button to cycle through the various light modes. There ’s also a red light mode, which is perfect for preserving night vision without losing brightness. Cons: • The beam adjustment( tilting the light up and down) could be a bit smoother. It ’s not a huge issue, but it requires a little force to adjust it. • The high beam can get a bit warm during extended use, so if you ’ re using it for a long duration, be mindful of that. Final Verdict: Highly recommended!

[ One of the coolest items I ’ ve gotten from Influenster to review. It has actually come in handy in many situations that I need a flash light. The head strap is much better because it keeps my hands free from having to hold a flash light. The light is super bright and very comfortable. Charging is easy and the battery last a good amount of time. Overall I highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for a head strap flash light.
