[ Just bought this immediately before we used it for a couple night car camping. Does just what it was designed to, held a heavy, full, cast iron pot over an open flame just fine. Was sturdy as long as it had a relatively even surface to be set on. We balanced it on some rocks( that later we turned into a coal oven) to get it up higher. Folded up nicely to fit perfectly in a bin with other cooking stuff. Would 've given 5 stars if it was just an eensy bit wider, but still worked great.

Instructions for assembly were simple and straight forward. I appreciated the hardware bags were labeled by step corresponding to the assembly directions. I purchased the Everest 2X based on feedback from other trip leaders in my non profit group. This stove works great for fast cooking for a group and our organization is using these stoves to replace Coleman stoves. The stove goes through propane faster than Coleman stoves however so bring plenty of fuel if cooking for a group in the field. Stove is easy to set up, light and sturdy in windy conditions. So far it is everything I could want in a camp stove, looking forward to using it on upcoming trips.
