I have several of these rods both baitcasting and spinning. For the price they are a very good product. Do n't blame the rod for the inability to cast for distance or accuracy. It takes a good combination of rod, reel and line. I use them for Snakehead fishing and have never had a problem yanking them out of the junk.

Caught a number of small bass but some medium sized ones but also a monster that had to weigh more than 8 lbs. It has handled everything perfectly and the rod is still perfectly straight. The only down side I have to the rod is the bait holder hook on the rod is right under your hand, which is a terrible spot if using treble hooks, or any hooks for that matter.
