I 'll start with the not great part first. Break in period was tough- probably b/c prior to this, I have n't skated since the Mighty Ducks franchise was in theaters. Once broken in, these babies fit like a perfectly- worn glove and they perform like Kobe in the clutch. Agile, fast, smooth, and supportive, my Twister XTs are BY FAR the best skates I 've ever worn. It amazes me how much better you can skate owning your own pair of skates rather then renting them at the roller rink. My Grandsons skating improved 100% within one night of skating with these new skates. You figure the average rate to rent skates is about 4. 50 per night. Great product for the money. No issues with jamming so far. Casts well and the clicker is great. If money is no object than get yourself a catfish series Abu, if money is tight this reel will work well if you are familiar with using baitcasting reels. If you 're going for bigger cats you might consider changing the line.

The only things I had to do is break the reel down and re- oil it and change the line on the reel but I always re- oil my reels before using for the 1st time. I highly recommend this reel for the price. I restrung this reel with 65 lb braid and it's held up great but always back it with good mono line.

Wanted to get into inline skating as a low impact exercise. Was in my teens last time I did. Running is too hard on the knees. These are great for the price. The wheels are HUGE and great for outdoor skating. I would n't recommend for beginners. Get smaller wheels if you 're just learning. Only downside so far is the straps tend to not stay tight. They loosen very easily. I 'm 6' 6 with 13 size shoe. These are true to size. Wearing these 195mm wheels and I 'm over 7' tall which is a long way to fall. Make sure you get safety gear as these have no brake.

I bought these because I needed rollerblades that would do well on uneven sidewalks and/or rocks/pebbles on the road. I figured with the big wheels, that would help... and I was right! They are very sturdy, comfortable and fantastic quality. The only cons I ’ ve come across are that they ’ re not very agile and feel a little clunky and heavy. I wish they were made with two wheels instead of three. However, 3 wheels are probably better for a beginner/average skater( since it provides better front to back stability), but I wish there was a 2- wheel option for more advanced skaters. Overall though, I am very happy with these skates.

This a solid reel that should last forever! The drag on this reel is very smooth, and I can hear the drag over loud wind and surf. The line spool has no wobble with the sturdy bearings holding it. I wear a 7 in womens( very wide feet).( My left foot is about 6. 5) and the 6's fit me well with about a half inch in the front. I wish the toe stopper was black. Just getting back into rollerblading after a 20yr hiatus. There aren ’ t any local shops that carry them, so I had to gamble with getting correct size. If you have wide feet like me, I ’ d recommend going a size above your shoe size. I wear US 13 wide shoes, so I ordered 14 skates and they feel really good. There ’s also insole inserts included to increase the vertical tightness a 1/2 size. I haven ’ t used them yet. My biggest concern was toe cramping from having wide feet. These skates are awesome and the wheels and bearings are really solid for a stock setup. They are fast. I got an adrenaline rush and went too fast and wrecked without pads and helmet. My first baptism into the reality of skating. Make sure to at least where some wrist guards if you are a beginner or returning after many years.
