That being said, the memory foam in insoles of the shoes make these super comfortable on my feet when I ’ m going for walks and little treks around the neighborhood. Put them on and immediately can hike in them with NO breaking in ever! Great waterproofing for a year or so; do seem to come apart at the seams though after about 2 years so I replace since I love these boots! New ones though seem tougher. Please do not ever get rid of the Targhee boots!
