My son has always used boombah catchers bags and always had issues with them not standing up under the weight of the gear. Last year we made the switch to this bag and it has not disappointed. He has used it for an entire year now and through all the travel, games, practices, etc. it has held its shape and continues to stand when fully loaded as long as it is loaded correctly. I love the fact that it has wheels because, even though I love to look tough carrying 30 bags hanging off my neck and shoulders I ’ m just getting too old for that. The bag has a ton of space, in fact it is enough space to fit my whole families ski clothes plus our winter boots, freeing up space in our personal bags for our daily use items. This is probably the perfect carry- on suitcase. Simultaneously light and smooth- feeling and heavily featured. I think one thing people miss about this one: the storage options and pockets start to eliminate the need for other carrying cases( e. g., tech pouches, laptop sleeve) in a way that barebones carry- ons( e. g., Away) do n't. There are some hiccups. The strings for the drawbridge opening frequently get caught in the zippers and it's difficult to adjust them on the fly. There's also an impulse, given the perfectly fitted camera cube that fills almost the entire suitcase, to think you could pack a carry- on's worth of stuff PLUS all your camera gear. It's not magical, so you ca n't. One thing I 'd like to see from Peak Design in the future is fitted camera cubes that take up a smaller portion of the suitcase's space( e. g., 50%) so that you could maximize camera storage in the allotted area without trading nearly all of your storage for clothes, etc.

I bought this from the kickstarter campaign and immediately took it on a long trip through Europe. I 'm about 3 weeks into the trip so far and the bag is holding up great. It is pretty heavily loaded when we 're on the move full of laptops and camera equipment etc, but still manages to be useful and so far has n't had any failures. The main flap zippers can be a little tough to zip sometimes, but the wheels are very good and overall it's a great bag.

There are several points to note. First of all, it's so easy to handle and move around maybe because of handle and tyres. This really makes you feel comfortable traveling with this roller. Secondary, I like how the lid is designed as I do n't need to turn around the roller to open. You can adjust how widely the lid can be opened, so depending on how you want to use you can easily adjust the range to open the lid. Easily accessible small pokets both infornt and inside are also very useful.

The suitcase is well designed and was rated one of the best suitcases by several travel magazines. I love that it has a hard shell on the backside of the bag so it can be laid down to pack easily. It also has fold out metal legs on the inside that help to support the bottom of the duffle bag so it will stand up on its own when it is packed. A secure garment strap on the inside will help keep those dress pants from being too wrinkled and multiple pockets for all the other items you need to bring with you. It even has expansion straps to help secure and support the bag. The handle glides smoothly up and down and the wheels are nice and heavy duty to withstand whatever obstacles you have to pass. The texture and the sturdiness feels like it can sustain a lot during your travels for a long time. It feels lightweight at only 9lbs. Very comfortable to carry. Besides how lightweight it feels, the best part of this luggage is the many compartments it has inside. There ’s even one that can hold all your toiletries without making a mess of the rest of you luggage, especially if there are clothes near it. Inside it ’s very spacious. There ’s a lot of space for multiple items including a lot of clothes with a nice number of jeans, which to me takes a lot space in the luggage. The zippers that have 2 of them has a connecting area for a lock if you need it which is nice. The expandable handle is easy to take out and even easier to get it back in it ’s almost automatic. The wheels don ’ t go sideways but to be honest is not a problem for me. Going forward is perfectly fine in my opinion. I ’ m glad I finally have a good quality luggage to take on my travels. [ Have wanted this for years but didn ’ t like colors and Plasticky sheen. When smoulder blue came along( matte dark blue), I immediately jumped. Now it ’s my GOAT rolly. Fits overhead compartment easily. Easy to clean. Rugged wheels, solid handle. Not even a single nitpick.

This roller bag exceeded my expectations on build quality. It is relatively heavy( a good thing I think) and very well built. The wheels are large and roll very easily. The internal storage is really why I chose this over other carry- on size bags. The zippered flaps on each side makes it easy to organize and get in and out of. The soft exterior front makes sizing up or sinching down a breeze.

I have been waiting for Cotopaxi to come out with a roller, and was so excited to order this! I purchased the carry- on size, and it is so roomy, just like my Alpa back pack. I ca n't see me ever having to check luggage again. Like true Cotopaxi style, it is very durable. I chose the pacific blue. The picture is a brighter blue than the bag actually is, which is not a problem, but should be noted.
