Just shoveled snow in these and I am in love! The tread prevents you from slipping, the fur at the ankle helps keep a little snow out and the chunky sole provides plenty of insulation from the cold ground. The fur is only around the top but the inside is flocked and cozy without adding too much bulk. My feet are on the cusp of being wide but the regular width in my size fit fine. They feel slightly tight at first with thick socks but within a couple of minutes warm up and are comfortable. I do n't even needs my hands to put them on, just step right into them and go.

Very happy! For some reason, I have to size up a 1/2 size in Sorel. No biggie. I love the color and versatility of this bootie. Easy to get on/off with the elastic and pull tab. Once on, the elastic is not too tight. I wore them for an entire day before I wrote the review to make sure they meet the mark. The back heel almost makes you feel as though you are slightly forward( hard to describe), but not uncomfortable. I wish the bottom of the sole was a little more lug, or aggressive because I am in snow and ice. Did I mention they are waterproof!!!!

I 've worn these a few times a month for about five months now and I 'm impressed by their waterproof ability. Recently I had to work for several hours out in the rain and every layer I was wearing ended up soaked- but my socks and feet stayed dry! I don ’ t have a particularly wide foot but I like to wiggle my toes a lot and the toe box has plenty of space for that. I used their online foot sizer with my foot as flat as possible and my toes spread out as wide as I could get them and was recommended a 9. 5 wide, they fit perfectly. Very well made. You can tell they are individually crafted in an old school manner and not just spat out in mass numbers and I love that. The leather is heavy duty and beautiful, I get compliments on them wherever I go.

I had a pair of the Iron Rangers and liked the comfort of the footbed, but the sole provided no cushioning, so I sold them. I bought these about five weeks ago and I like them very much. They were pretty comfortable right away, but I did have to endure some irritation on one heel for the first week or so. There is no longer any irritation, and the footbed had formed to my feet more so, so I really enjoy wearing them. They have pretty good cushioning because of the soles. The boots are a little challenging to get on because the tongue is gusseted so high, but that is certainly not a deal breaker.

I learned very quickly that the Sorel Caribou boot was the Best way to keep feet dry and relatively warm in the Great white Tundra of the North East states. I purchased the Men's Mt. Maddsen Slip- On Shoe in October 2022 about a month before a trip to Northern Ireland. I was looking for a comfortable hiking shoe. Having previously owned a pair of Timberland SmartWool slip- ons that were wonderful to wear, I gave the Mt. Maddsen slip- ons a try. They did not disappoint. The leather uppers softened and molded themselves to fit my foot so they have become my preferred shoe for working in the yard as well as hiking. They shed water well and the thick soles keep my foot out of puddles in the rain. These boots were precisely what I required. Since I have flat feet, balance is always a concern for me, especially on slippery surfaces. I wore them during my Alaska vacation. They provided excellent traction on snow, slush, and ice. For reference, I wear a 10 Wide in Skechers, and these boots I got in a 10. 5 size.

This boot is so unbelievably comfortable, but it does run large. I have never, in my adult life, worn anything smaller than a 10 in any shoe( boot, sneaker, sandal, heel) but the size 10 in these was considerably larger than I could wear! Half size down should do it, and I ca n't wait for the 9. 5 to arrive. They are great quality, cozy, and well worth the spend.

I replaced the liners in my old ones once and could probably keep on wearing them the rest of my life, but wanted ones with brand new tread. I am obsessed with these boots and they are literally the best snow boots. I walk about 2 miles a day and these literally are so comfortable and never get wet. I 've only been wearing these lightly so waited a bit before reviewing. They are great looking boots with super fast break in. Immediately comfortable. Very suitable for a moderately wide foot even in standard width. Maybe consider sizing down by a half if you run small.

Well, I ’ m sold. I ’ ve been a farm and ranch boot guy for the last 12 years. I bought these on a whim with plans to return them if I didn ’ t like them.
