This is my third pair of Carhart's 6 '' Soft Toe Work Boot. I love them. They are tough, long lasting and comfortable. I use them for my everyday foot wear except dress occassions. I even take my daily four mile walk in them. I hike in them and hunt in them. For me, they are the best boot I have every owned in terms of quality. When properly maintained, they are water repellent. This would n't have been my third pair if I was n't completely sold on this Carhart product.

I have been a Georgia Boot Customer since I was in high school and could afford to splurge on my own boots so I am a huge fan. Well first off these are Lightweight and at the end of the day you don ’ t feel like a horse shedding a saddle. They slip off and my feet feel great. I did put my arch supports in and these boots picked up where my other Georgia boots left off. The soles of the boots grip well on many surfaces and the tops have a nice feel and not too restrictive also. I ordered a half size bigger, since I wear wool soaks for added cushion on my feet. Now the only draw back is I wish they were a little narrower by a little. These feel like they are wide instead of a standard width. Again, my wool soaks help make up for some of the looseness but it is not a deal breaker by no means. Thus far for everyday work boots for someone who is on their feet a lot on concrete, these have done really well.

I almost exclusively wear 8 ”- 10 ” work boots; it drives my wife nuts. I own many different brands and try to keep with US made products. This USA Georgia Boot Logger is built like a dang tank, but rides or feels like a Cadillac once broken in. The comfort core footbed is different for sure, but it is very comfortable. Because they ’ re multiple layers of leather, break in does take some time, but it ’s not terrible. I do own 3 pairs of this boot and rotate them out. Boot is very stable and have great traction and grip. I do wear other brands too, but this boot seems to be one of my go to, for sure. Georgia Boot knocked it out of the park with this one. These are very comfortable boots.. They fit and feel like sneakers but have great ankle support. I do busway work for power plants, which requires a lot of climbing and crawling and these boots have held up very well over the past three jobs( total of almost six 70- ish hour work weeks) so far with no signs of degradation. They are lightly insulated for the waterproofing, so I think they could get a little warm for the hot and humid months.

If I do n't wear them for a while they become narrow and tight but give them some heat or mink oil and they loosen back up and once they get hot from body heat they loosen back like my childhood baseball glove. I mainly bought this boot because it can be resoled and the reviews on Georgia boot were very positive. This is the first time I have bought Georgia boot. I have usually bought Ariat, Wolverine, Red Wings and Tony Lama. I am tired of buying good boots only to find out they are trash after the soles are worn off or the glue separating. These boots( Georgia Giant Wellingtons) can be resoled by a cobbler and should last a lifetime with proper care. After throwing away two pair of RedWing Boots because the soles are separating because they are glued and can not be resoled, I am now a Georgia Boot customer.

I bought a pair of these when I was working in an aluminum rolling mill. These boots are the best I 've ever found for keeping their traction when it's oily. Comfortable and good support too.

First off, in normal tennis/running shoes I am a 13 wide. Order a size down. Customer service was super responsive and helpful in exchanging sizes. The welt on this boot is beautiful, the leather breaks in very well within the first 1- 2 days of wearing. I am looking forward to using these for years to come.
