It's nice on days when I want some added warmth, but do n't want to wear a jacket or coat. A great transitional piece. So far, I have worn it a couple of ways- with a fitted long sleeve t- shirt( pictured) and with a thick hoodie. It worked very well both ways! It does fit on the looser side. For size reference, I 'm petite 5' x 1 '' and have this in size XS. For a more fitted look, I probably could have sized down. One feature I like about the vest is the bottom drawstring as I am able to cinch it for a more fitted look. The side zippered pockets allow me to secure my items without needing to worry about them slipping out. Overall, I highly recommend it!

The pockets are well lined and warm. The zipper is smooth and the flap covering it does n't let the cold air through when snapped. [ It ’s far too warm to try this out here in the southeast yet, but I am impressed. It weighs little( comparable to a down vest), fits great( Medium, 5 ’ 7 ”, 155 lbs), and packs down small. It ’s just what I wanted for some emergency warmth when I ’ m out in the woods. I wanted synthetic insulation because we don ’ t have that dry cold of the frozen north in which down excels; I ’ m more likely to be cold and damp.

Just that extra touch of warmth maybe a little bit more and without the bulk. Its feather light. Needs a chest pocket but zippers and extra material add weight I get it. Glad I purchased this vest as it is easily a quick grab go to especially with the mild winter so far in the PNW. It will be with me every time I am carrying a day pack as well while skiing.

I 'll admit when I picked this vest up I was a little hesitant on its warmth keeping abilities do to its light weight and fragile feel. Let's just say I was very impressed how well it works to keep me warm. This is a great little vest. I would think the full sleeve jacket version would be too warm for me on a regular basis in the spring time in the PNW so this is perfect for my needs of casual walking around and hiking in 40- 50 degree weather. Over 55 degrees walking around I start sweating with this and a long sleeve shirt on. Very happy with this purchase.

For starters, it's really cute and comfy overall. I 'm glad prAna has a shorter vest than previous years. It's not too short though, I 'd say just the right length. Ca n't wait to wear this in the colder months and absolutely love the sherpa lining.

[ This new life vest is really comfortable. The material is super soft leaving no worries about chaffing. The zipper is nice in that it keeps the vest in place and adds some extra comfort. I can even talk my teens on keeping this safely and properly on for long periods of time.
