Just got a 20 oz. My 30 oz is 4 years old. Use it 6 days a week cutting in rough terrain for my chainsaw fuel. Works like I just got it yesterday except the black lettering is pretty much gone. Also a can of beer or soda will also fit so you can keep a drink cold and crack it open on the hike out. Fit and finish is high like all Snow Peak products.

The thin walls make it slightly uncomfortable to drink from without a lid( almost sharp but I wouldn ’ t go that far)( although full disclosure, the directions say not to drink from it without a lid because you might spill on yourself!). Cool that you can fit a can in there. Diameter is 2& 15/16ths inches so it might not fit smaller cup holders. Note the drinking lid isn ’ t spillproof but it doesn ’ t claim to be. Not the best thermos out there but decent. Similar to others in terms of heat retention- just fine.

I use this bottle for hiking and camping. I take it in the bottle sling and have the cup and the firebox nano in the pouch. I do not have any concerns when walking around through the woods away from my base camp. The very best bottle you could ever have and this is my second one. I had the first one for several years and have replaced the filter twice and now it ’s my daughters for her hikes. Wish it wasn ’ t so expensive but you also get what you pay for so I get that. I used this product for travel and loved having it- it's so handy to be able to filter water anywhere on the go and pour it into other vessels or add electrolytes to the bottle. The one tricky thing was getting used to all the different pieces and how they fit together, I had multiple mishaps where the entire bottle spilled or leaked in my bag or on the plane. One I fully understood how all the pieces fit together and was able to make sure that each piece was properly screwed on etc, I did n't seem to have the problem. It does leak when under pressure though, either from electrolytes that fizz or from the pressure on an airplane.

I got a smaller size bottle as a premium some time ago, but the cap holder broke. This one's larger size does n't fit my bike's bottle cage, but I can carry it in a back pack easily. I anticipate getting a lot of use from it this summer.
