[ I needed a good pan and GSI is known for high quality. I was looking for the 10 ” Pinnacle when I came across this pan. I had some very mild reservations about how non- stick it would be but, I ’ ve used it daily( mostly in my kitchen) and it ’s really great.

[ The Glacier 10 ” frypan appears to be another great quality product from GSI Outdoors. I can ’ t wait to fry up some tasty sunfish fillets at the cabin next summer!

[ Works best for meat. Nice heavy pan browns nicely. Cleanup for eggs does not work as well as traditional nonstick. I will be using traditional nonstick for eggs or pancakes.

[ This 8 inch pan will be perfect for our summer camping trips! It is super portable due to the handle folding down. It seems to be made of super durable metal. I am excited to put this to use this summer over a camp fire!

[ I got this for my husband who is expanding his camping gear and he was so excited and loves it so much! He used it with his single propane burner and it worked perfectly! It's a true nonstick, where nothing stuck to the pan. You 're able to click the handle on and off which is pretty cool as well. Because of the nonstick feature it was really easy to clean. It's a great size, small enough that it's easy to store and travel with, but big enough to actually cook food in

[ This pan is great. I love that the handle folds in and comes off, it's perfect for the grill! It's pretty decent size for two people. Love that it's nonstick, too!

[ Have not gone camping yet but I def will take this with me when I can. The pan is sturdy and the quality is great. I have been cooking up some eggs on my gas stove with this.

[ Bought this pan for our kitchen kit, and it works great. Fits on great on our Coleman 2 burner stove, and the non- stick works well. I will say that my model looks a bit different than the one pictured, the handle collapses and folds into the pan to make it smaller, versus having screws that you have to remove.

The Ceramic Skillet is excellent. Nothing burns or sticks, no toxic non- stick coating that will peel off and contaminate the food, easy to clean. Highly recommend.

It worked better than I expected. I did n't have to use any oil when making pancakes. They turned out very well. I 'm super impressed with how this pan performed.

Bought this skillet to go in conjunction with the four person flex mess kit. The skillet fits under the smaller pot and can be all packet together. Love it. Works great. It is a bit fragile so you have to be aware not to be rough on it, but regular use pack in for back country trips it works great.( My old MSR steel frying pan and Sierra cup I used to tie to the back of my pack to make noise on my sold trips in Alaska, and other heavily populated bear country) Would not recommend doing that with this! But as far as function, it ’s awesome. Light, cooks fast, even, and easy to clean. Using this over a Optimus nova stove.

As much as I love a good dehydrated meal on the trail, I recently decided I wanted the ability to cook up some proper food so I went on the hunt for a lightweight skillet, and the MSR ceramic skillet absolutely delivered. I was a bit worried about some of the reviews saying the pan would warp or the ceramic coating would burn off, especially since I 'm using it with my small pocket rocket 2 stove, however this was n't the case at all. Just do n't assume you can crank the heat to hi and leave the skillet in one place, as long as you are active while cooking and move the skillet around so the heat disperses a bit more evenly and you modulate the gas, you 'll be cooking up 5 star meals in the backcountry. Just got back from a multi day thru hike and cooked up steak and potatoes for dinner one night, and bacon and eggs the next morning, what a moral boost while on the trail when you have 10+ miles to go that day. I paired the skillet with the alpine plate( which is also the perfect size to use as a lid for the skillet), the universal canister stand for extra stability( I 'd say this is crucial if you 're using a 4oz fuel canister, I 'd almost definitely knock the stove/skillet over without it), and the alpine spatula just for the sake of convenience and saving the ceramic coating. All in all very happy with the purchase and I look forward to cooking many more meals in the backcountry!

Great quality gear, handle works better than other gear I ’ ve used in the past. Avoid using metal cooking instruments to avoid wear and tear. Handle locks into place perfectly and does not wiggle or fault in any way. Perfect for cooking for 1- 2 people

Have n't used yet but light and small. Intend to use for trout in backcountry.

Honestly put this thing through the wringer for 5 days and it held up. Cooked multiple meals over a fire with this skillet and it held up. Took care not to get the plastic pieces too hot as they looked like they could melt. Easy to clean and stored nicely in my pack. The handle comes off in my pack now, but I think that was my fault for how I packed it. I can reattach it no problem and it is still usable, I just have a handle getting to the bottom of my pack now.

[ Used for the first time last weekend. Performed as expected for my scramble egss and hash browns. easy cleanup. Heats up rapidly so be careful how much heat you put under it. Handle fold nicely to fit with other kit items.

I bought this skillet for backpacking trips when I want to cook a small trout stream side or make bacon and eggs for breakfast. I ca n't wait for the weather to improve so I can give it a test run. The non- stick coating and light weight and packability are just what I was looking for. I will most likely purchase the Alpinist 2 Cook Set to nest with this skillet so I have a complete system for two.

If you 're looking for a solid pan for car camping, this is it! The detachable handle is helpful when trying to save space. The pan is large enough for small family meals. It is strong and durable. I feel confident that I 'll get years of use out of this one!

High quality pan for being so travel friendly. Feels sturdy enough to last at least my lifetime while still feeling feather light compared to my home stainless behemoths. I have a large Camp Chef Everest 2X stove and this thing heated up instantly and evenly cooking 4 bacon strips without having to rotate them. Enough room to make a decent 1 pot meal for 2 or a great side saute for a small crew. Interested in the 5L pot/colander set that can nest inside, would have liked to have had that for my camper roadtrip last summer, seems like it would be the ultimate quality cookset you could easily fit in a shallow drawer The play/wobble in the handle latch did feel a little worrisome before testing about how it would feel loaded but proved sturdy and planted when holding the weight of the pan and stayed cool throughout. All in all love the new click in system

Perfect size as it spans two burners on our gas stove. Keeps oil nice and hot throughout the cooking. Depth was just right for frying fish. All aluminum set up is light weight. Only improvement might be that the inner basket handle seems a bit flimsy. Would n't count on it for a heavy load.
