I 've been purchasing Camelbak packs going on 16 years and now have at least one designated to each activity I do; running, MTB, Cycling, Hiking, and working outside. I would say I still love the fit and durability of each different style I have( the one I use for working outside is the first Rogue I purchased in 2008), and I 'm really happy Camelbak finally upgraded the bite valve design, but the added magnetic clip placement still needs a more permanent home to affix to on the shoulder strap or chest strap, or something. When the only place to affix it to is somewhere along the adjustable side of the chest strap it's just never in a constant place to mindlessly clip it back in. Otherwise, I 'm still a loyal and satisfied user.

I purchased this last spring for my motorcycle trip from Spring Branch, TX up to the Arctic Circle in Alaska and back. It performed flawlessly for the whole 31 days and 11, 525 miles on the back of my MoskoMoto panniers. The little dispensing valve was great, as I could refill small water bottles, brush teeth, splash face and wash hands, wash/rinse dishes, mix cocktails, etc., all right from the bag holder on the back of my bike. Such a good bag, 100 oz of water is 4x my large yeti and the bag still has so much room I fit in an additional shoulder bag, snacks, some accessories and some green, and still had the half of the largest pouch not taken up by the water pouch. Bag is comfortable and stylish. Reservoir for water is incredibly well thought out and comes apart easily and in enough places that making sure the pack is dry after use is a breeze. Trying to get back to consistent running and going longer distances. I previously had another brand ’s vest that I only used collapsible water bottles in the front pockets and never used a bladder. Always had comfort issues with it though and overall felt like I could never it to fit comfortably. For this vest though, I have run three 10 mile+ runs and find this one very comfortable. I was easily able to adjust this to fit correctly. I find the bladder easy to use and has been good to use with Tailwind Nutrition as my fuel of choice. I like the available storage as well and enjoy having a space for my phone. There is also so much more storage that I could utilize and have barely scratched the surface of. I did carry sunglasses with me on a run and was nice to have them with me even though I didn ’ t ultimately use them. Definitely happy with this purchase and look forward to more long runs with it.

It really has the perfect amount of pockets- I love the front `` shove it '' pocket and the interior mesh pocket to keep thing organized. Great for the price. I 'm a hydration pack fanatic because I use them several times a week. This one is quite good. The good: Really well made and durable materials. It is a really versatile hydration pack that can be used for hiking, cycling, etc. It has some internal pockets in the main compartment that really distributes your stuff and the weight well and keeps the pack well balanced. The back pads are nice and plush. The straps are stout. The external stuff pockets on the side/front are very useful. I like how the waist straps tuck away if you are not using them. Trekking pole straps/compression straps are nice. The pack is really streamlined, fits snug against the body, and is very stable for activity. The stuff that can be improved: The hydration bladder and bite valve are not the best, but they do function decent and for the price it is not a big deal. It would be nice to have some sort of velcro on the large external stuff pocket just to secure your stuff a little.

Only lasts about a year then the cloth part of zipper goes bad. I ’ ve returned daylite many times. While I appreciate the all might guarantee, it ’s still a hassle to continue this process. Only wish the water bladder nozzle had a cover as every time I set the pack down my nozzle touched the ground- good for my immune system! I just feel so grateful for my pack. One of your sales people on the phone recommended it after I tried several other models and sizes. Could n't be happier. One of the zippers broke before my trip but it was n't key. [ This pack was a long day hike upgrade for me and I chose it for 2 reasons. First was the Airspeed suspension which definitely keeps your back cool. Second was longer torso length. Along with all of the compression straps this a very comfortable and balanced pack. The stuff it pocket was an afterthought but is actually very handy. Extremely pleased with this purchase!

` I am a 50 year old occasional hiker who has n't had a new pack since college. Just spent 3 days hiking in the Catskills with this pack on my back for 7- 8 hours a day and I love it. Plenty of space and super comfortable. I barely noticed I was even carrying a pack, had zero shoulder or back strain, and like the frame that allows for some airflow through the back area- a big plus hiking in 80+ degree weather. Never had to use the internal rainfly, but that was definitely a selling point for me. Highly recommend!

The Hikelite 18 is incredible for travel, day hikes, daily commuting via bike, and more. It fits under an airplane seat, has hydration bladder capability for day hikes, includes a chest and waist strap to secure the bag to you when biking, and it is the perfect size. Fits my Apple M2 16 ''( someone wrote it does n't fit their 14 '' laptop) with no need for sleeve as it is protected by the wire frame.... plus small photography drone+ controller+ 3 batteries in a Solo rectangular gear pack( looks like softside lunch box), Hikelite is great for day- trekking photo shoots. The whole Hikelite 18 then drops perfectly into an Eddie Bauer 22 '' rolling half- hardshell duffel for all- in- one travel( dusty busrides on dirt roads). As an ultralight Backpacker, I leave my honest review here. First, I have to say that I was excited when I got this backpack; the fabrics and the implementation are outstanding excellent job Black Diamond. The fast backpack idea with those extra shoulder straps makes this backpack ideal. Not only is this one waterproof or almost, but it is merely one of the best backpacks I ever owned. Believe it or not, I have tried several UL backpacks in my career. The only downside I see is that the shoulder pocket with the zipper is too tiny to hold a standard- sized cell phone comfortably. If I had a bigger one, I could guarantee it would never fit inside.

I have n't used this pack but it looks great, with excellent materials, pockets and overall construction. It also seems to tick most boxes for ultra runners who may be doing multi- day events requiring a lot of mandatory gear. Some runners may question the design choice of having only one side of the vest strap capable of carrying a 500ml soft flask. Perhaps this is the preferred option for fastpacking but having capacity for two soft flasks in addition to two zippered pockets on either side like the BD Distance 15 pack would be ideal, at least for ultra runners.

I have two other Osprey packs and love the women- specific features. I bought this Sirrus for casual hiking and walking to town for groceries and other supplies. I got the right fit after watching a Youtube that showed that the hipbelt pad in front should be centered over the pelvic bone- not above it as I had incorrectly done. The torso adjustment `` ladder '' is a nice feature. I am 5' 7 '' and measured my torso at 15. 6 '', and found the second shortest adjustment to work the best at keeping the shoulder straps from riding up. This is really a comfortable and well fitting pack for me.
