Having tried two other pickleball specific shoes I was looking for a shoe that had a wider toe box, and a bit more cushioning. A friend suggested the new Nike Zoom challenge shoe. I am so glad to have found this shoe. It definitely has lots of cushioning, is great for side ways movement about the court and has a good grip on the court surface. It is exactly the responsive type shoe I was looking for.

I bought these since my knees were hurting from lack of lateral support with my current court shoes. They are very tight when you first put them on. You might even think they are way too small. I usually wear a 7. 5 or 8 depending on the brand. I got the 8. I tried on the 8. 5 and they felt better in the store but were too long. After wearing them for one round robin, I am thrilled that I bought these. I do wear thin socks and use a shoe horn to get them on. I get lots of comments about how cute/nice they are also. Be prepared that these shoes do not give much but they are great for this sport.

I have ankle issue, a substantial bunion on the left foot... and wear orthotics. These shoes are so comfortable, and were perfect right out of the box. I always like to do a break in period at home, before wearing my tennis shoes on the courts. I truly needed no break in with these shoes. After my first pair, I ordered a second... even though white is not my first love. Still, I can never be sure when a perfect shoe will no longer be available.

So comfortable, I have flat feet so have to pick the right trainers for comfort. These are perfect nice fit. I also love the rubber on the front as I work in a school I tend to choose rubber front trainers as they last longer so I 'm glad new balance have them as it only seem to be adidas that had them. Thanks!
