This is the best fitting boot i have ever had in my 54 years of living. Seriously. The boot is actually water- proof too. Only boot ive ever owned that i didnt have to put mink oil on or many other products ive tried and this boot is waterproof the moment you get it. Its lighter than any pair of tennis shoes which seams impossible, its true. Blows me away! And they last a year! The boot itself has practically made me it best salesman here in oklahoma.

I have used Durango for a while, and convince others everytime I see them that they need to give these boots a try. But these specific boots are the best ones yet. I was sceptical about the ventilation but it honestly helps your feet breathe! And the SOLES…. I ’ ve never seen a sole of a boot/shoe/etc work and perform as well as these! I bought these boots last year for work. A couple of months ago I was at a customers house and stepped on a live wire for an old well pump. The wire was cut and sticking out of the ground an inch. i bought these about 6 months ago and love the boot. Versatile and comfortable for long working days. I know it says a hiker boot but it worked for me. Able to use them for riding horses. Keeps the feet dry and warm in winter. Nice long laces. BUT Waterproof did n't last past 5 months, and the seams are coming undone around the composite toe area.

These are the most comfortable and easiest to break in boots I ’ ve owned in 50+ years of cowboy boot ownership. I was a total R toe with leather sole devotee until I bought these square toe/ composite sole/ walking heel Durango boots. I wear them every day…. my R toe leather sole boots are now relegated to the back of the closet. No comparison in comfort and fit. All of my boots make that nice “ whoosh sound ” when putting them on… However the Durango boots are so much more comfortable for all day wear( and go whoosh). Great padding/ insert. Great traction via sole design. These have changed my perspective on what a cowboy boot should be. Awesome boots! I bought 1/2 size larger than I usually wear, YMMMV.

My favorite boot style! This is my second pair and the color on these is perfect. My first are my daily wear shoes for work as a large animal vet assistant and I put 4 to 10 miles on them every shift and am on my feet 9- 11 hours a day. These boots hold up great and keep me comfortable and protected all day long. They are super comfortable in the stirrups as well and provide a lot of support even when posting the trot.

I had a different brand of boots last me 2 month ’s and they blew out then I switched to Durango ’s and have been been wearing them for over 6 years. They ’ re super durable for all types of work. If you ’ re on your feet a lot that ’s okay cause they ’ re comfortable, if you ’ re in the saddle they ’ re fine also. With other brands I ’ d have the sole falling off that won ’ t happen with these boots. I keep buying more after a couple years just because I want new one not because they ’ re wore out.
