I had a pair of the Iron Rangers and liked the comfort of the footbed, but the sole provided no cushioning, so I sold them. I bought these about five weeks ago and I like them very much. They were pretty comfortable right away, but I did have to endure some irritation on one heel for the first week or so. There is no longer any irritation, and the footbed had formed to my feet more so, so I really enjoy wearing them. They have pretty good cushioning because of the soles. The boots are a little challenging to get on because the tongue is gusseted so high, but that is certainly not a deal breaker.

They size a bit on the big side, I doubted whether to send them back and get one size down but given the need to use them went ahead and do n't regret it. My back has never felt better since I bought them. I got a 10. 5 not sure how they would stretch, next time I ’ ll order a 10. They are true to size. Lesson learned on my end.
