While I did n't purchase my boots from here I did buy them from an authorized retailer online. These and other Carhartt boots I 've bought are the most comfortable boots I 've ever worn. I wear them over 10 hours a day and they treat my feet very well. I will say I do have to have the wide boot even though my feet do n't seem much wider than anyone else's.

Needed a new pair of steel or composite toe work boots so went to a Bass Pro Shop on a specific mission for Keen boots. Wore non- ST Keens years ago and always like the look so thought I 'd try the ST version. Unfortunately Keen now runs wide and were exceptionally heavy... disappointing. Tried on about 8 pairs of boots from 4 different manufacturers and a price range from low 100's to 300+. Carhart,( or as we say in the northeast- Cah- haht) Millbrook CT was the clear winner both in price, comfort, and cool ol' school look. Literally bought them last night and wore them all day today and they felt like I 've owned them for years. If these were available in low cut, I would have bought those too. I prefer a boot that hugs the foot( see prior reviews) so this was perfect for me and very comfortable immediately. You 'll notice the single lace hook at the top so 95% full lace support is excellent, unobtrusive, and again, sooo comfortable. Appearance is a 5; Durability is admittedly unknown as this is my first pair, but based on initial observation, these should last for a while; Quality is definitely a 5; Functionality is a 5... for me. I ’ m on my second Canadian winter with these. Very warm, very comfortable. They ’ re tall, almost up to my knee, and fit snug around my leg( though not “ tight ”) so as not to have huge gaps where snow can get in. The Vibram Ice sole works — good traction on slippery surfaces. Note, however, these boots are not light, nor are they flexible like cheap boots — there ’ ll be no trips strolling in the mall with these. These are serious boots for serious cold.

Got these in low top. These are great! Coming off a pair of Moab 2 lows for hiking I feel these are a definite upgrade in looks and comfort. I think Merrell hit the nail on the head with the styling, I actually am tempted just to wear these as a daily without hiking in them, I do n't want to get them dirty! They look fantastic with jeans. Also note that these leather ones are more comfortable than the Speed 2 Goretex version... I tried on that pair and the cut outs for the ankle were higher and rubbed my ankle. There is no rubbing on these, however they are slightly heavier than the Speed 2 goretex. I imagine because this uses leather.

I became interested in this style of boot due to me having bad/weak ankles. considering that im very active, i needed the support. i first tried the justin and after the second time of wearing them, quickly realized they were too stiff and too heavy and went to my local supply and tried on the georgia. i 've gone through three pair of which were each resouled atleast once and now about to pull the trigger on a fourth. with each pair, once broken in, feel like a pair of house slippers. as mentioned by others, the lether on the last two pair do seem to be a bit harder than previous. overall, i 'll have to give them a two thumbs up.

Theses are the second pair that I have bought. The first pair lasted for about a year and a half.( I work at a power plant that has a lot of construction going on) They are very comfortable to wear all day long. I work 10 hour shifts with no problems. I am flat- footed, so finding good work boots was important to me. These get the job done without my feet hurting. It took only a day or so to break them in. They are also waterproof, and unlike other boots, these really are waterproof. I have submerged almost my entire boots and not a single drop! A must have!

I bought these a few weeks ago. I think the description said for women to buy about a size smaller than normal and a lot of the reviews said to order 1/2 a size bigger because the boots are tight. The boots are definitely made snug but I ordered my regular size and did n't have any problems; they fit great. I also used the link near the top to help me pick the right size and the results were my normal so I went with that and it worked out.

The fact that you purchased a pair of shoes does n't give you the necessary information to write a review, you have to wear the shoes in order to get the information necessary to write a review. I work in a warehouse and walk 10- 12 miles a day, 260 days a year. I have worn the Eagle Trail boots by Georgia Boot this past year. They have been amazing. Only now are the insides starting to fail at the heels. The outsole has worn evenly and still has lots of life left. The leather has resisted being run over by pallet jacks, the toes have saved my toes numerous times. I bought them at the outlet store in Nelsonville and love them so much I will order them again full price. My feet do n't sweat, stink or get blisters. I sized them in W to allow exptra room in the toe box and will likely go up a half size this time. They fit true to size and look very good after a touchup with Helix Foot and Boot care. My paycheck depends on my feet being healthy. My feet depend on my Georgia Boots. Yes, I would say they are the best boot I have ever worn for work.
