I was in the market for new boots. Heard through the grapevine that i should give this brand a chance. Got them as a gift and i am beyond ecstatic. The boots fit me well( run a little big, but not a con) and the inner sole is almost heavenly. I work in a warehouse where i stand on concrete 8 hours a day. I normally add an extra insert for added support, but there really is no need for these boots. While mainly for work, i definitely want to get the most out of these boots, but i must say that these particular boots i have are not cut out for hiking. Not a con in the least bit, though a bit of a bummer in the long run. So after spending about 40 hours over a few days in these boots, i am very happy with my georgia boots.

I bought these boots and they turned out to be the most comfortable pair I 've ever purchased. The upper leather and soles are so soft that it helps from aches and pain on my back. I do have to purchase a new pair yearly do to the climate in Tucson AZ, in the summer gets really hot where the soles wear out really fast. Only because I work in the Metro area where their is a lot of concrete and asphalt. I weigh 240 lbs and I wear a size 13 to 14 Medium depends on the boot. I would highly recommend for anyone to purchase these boots. I wish you had a 14B, my foot is really narrow.

I love them so much i have pairs for work and everyday wear. I ’ ve worked for the Water company where i live and not really being “ water proof ” i still wore them and they would hold up for 6 months or so. I came on to the Georgia Boot site looking for a new pair of boots. But I thought I would drop a review on my 12 year- old Giant Work Boot. Because in retrospect, they are the best boot I have ever worn. I have done EVERYTHING in them. Camping, hiking, yard work, home remodeling, etc. Rain, sun, snow, it has not mattered. These boots have passed the test. The tread is still in tact, and I do n't have one loose stitch. I 'm sure they wo n't work for everyone. They are heavy, rugged, and undoubtedly there are more comfortable boots on the market. But if you want a do everything boot, that feels bulletproof, that you can throw anything at them and they will ask for more, then this is it. For the money, the Georgia Giant Work Boot is amazing. Worth the money, for me they lasted little over than a year but I work 12 hour shifts between 40- 60 hrs a week in a recycling plant in AZ and we are exposed to kinda harsh conditions daily( dry/dusty areas and wet areas with puddles too), not too mention the +100 degree summer temps we get so they worked fine for me. I have been wearing this make Georgia boot since I was a little, I am 22 now, I work in the labor industry as a welder. This is the best most comfortable and very hardy boot. They are high quality leather, although they are comfortable out of the box, they do get more and more comfortable as you wear them. I am on my feet all day everyday so I put some Dr. Scholl ’s insoles in them to make them that much better.( I also have flat feet) One pair last me about 3- 4 years. And that is wearing them literally almost 365 days a year. As a welder I tend to not like laces and these boots are perfect for a welder except if you are needed steel toe. I bought this boot last month. Very high quality leather. A little stiff but is breaking in nicely. I have a small farm with wet conditions so this boot is perfect. Very comfortable. I mainly bought this boot because it can be resoled and the reviews on Georgia boot were very positive. This is the first time I have bought Georgia boot. I have usually bought Ariat, Wolverine, Red Wings and Tony Lama. I am tired of buying good boots only to find out they are trash after the soles are worn off or the glue separating. These boots( Georgia Giant Wellingtons) can be resoled by a cobbler and should last a lifetime with proper care. After throwing away two pair of RedWing Boots because the soles are separating because they are glued and can not be resoled, I am now a Georgia Boot customer.

I expected a break- in period but these blacksmiths were comfortable out of the box. Soft but supportive and the fit was perfect for me. No chafing, roomy but not loose. The traction was good even in wet weather. And they are fine to wear even during hot and humid days where I live. Chose the copper rough and tough because I think the look is so classic and understated. Love the versatility as well. Can use them with just about every pair of pants and( even shorts) in my closet. I wear them almost everyday and feel they ’ ll stand up to all the walking I do. Well worth the price and looking forward to picking up more Red Wing boots down the line.

The liner broke loose from the boot and I have to use a shoe horn to get one of them off. If they could prevent this from happening I would say it was the perfect boot for coalmining.

I have had a pair of these Wingshooter ST for 1. 5 years working in a wet and dusty granite shop 9 hrs a day. I keep track of my miles and I have just over 1000 miles on these boots so far in extremely harsh conditions. here's how much i love these boots. for the last 2 decades they have been on a constant rotation: oldest to still- in- the- box. as the oldest worn- out pair rotate out into the garbage( after years), the next pair moves to oldest slot for really dirty work, and i open the box for the newest pair for general wear. as soon as that box is opened, i order the next box. so, i always have a ratty pair, a semi ratty pair, a new pair, and a boxed pair. they are everyday wear, work& non- work, on& off the motorcycle. highly recommend, obviously.

These are very comfortable, dry and warm. I have had these boots since 2001 and they are still holding up. Downside with my trade is often times being in standing water and you get what you get from them not being water proof, that ’s okay. My girlfriend tries to get me to wear a different brand, nah….. I bought these boots about 4 months ago as a dress/casual boots as I was wearing Irish Setter Ashby 83908( a Union IW wearing safety toes, 100% BS right?). Well I was moved to another crew and was walking Iron and need a pair of lace ups. These boots have exceeded all expectations. The have been subjected to climbing columns, welding, cutting torches, and grinders( cut off wheels, tiger paws, and grinding rocks.) I wear these boots everyday for 18 hours+ from 4: 30 A. M. to about 10: 30 P. M. when I finally get to bed. I have walked 5+ miles a day( sometimes up to 15 miles a day) in them and the just keep going. My only gripe is Irish Setter does n't make an 8 '' version of this boot! I will be upgrading to Redwing 411/2418 in the next few weeks, but I will still wear these a a pair of 2nds. I will ALWAYS and FOREVER SONG THE PRAISES OF IRISH SETTER as the BEST entry level work boot! Oh lastly, I love Irish Setter boots so that I actually got married in a pair of them. I had a different brand of boots last me 2 month ’s and they blew out then I switched to Durango ’s and have been been wearing them for over 6 years. They ’ re super durable for all types of work. If you ’ re on your feet a lot that ’s okay cause they ’ re comfortable, if you ’ re in the saddle they ’ re fine also. Sizing fit my normal size, 10. 5D. Always have worn cowboy boots but unsure if my feet are changing or what but lately the top of my foot at the ankle has been rubbed raw by cowboy boots that I have worn for years through various styles( ariat, double H, Redwing). Did n't want to give up the heel style I prefer so after reading reviews ordered these. After a month of wear, found my ideal boots. They are light, almost no weight to them and the break in was no struggle with normal wear and rest of cycles between this and other pairs of boots. I had tried the Red Wing Logger Max 9 inch years ago and the laces for some reason refused to stay tied( unsure if it was the pair or user error). I work in an administrative environment 80% of the time with 20% in the field. I cant say enough about the weight, as I stated almost none, I have worn boots my entire life and Redwings have encompassed about 70% of the brands I have always worn. With good care and resoling as needed, look forward to having these boots for years.

I had a time finding a logger boot fmto fit my feet cause im a 12. 5 on a bradick board, or however its called. Im in between a 12 and 13 in every other boot brand which never fit right. As a proud owner of a pair of Redwing Irish Setters, I can confidently say they are more than just boots; they ’ re a part of my everyday adventures. Unfortunately, my beloved pair has seen better days, and with them being discontinued, I find myself in a bit of a pickle( or should I say, a bootless situation). I ’ ve searched high and low for a replacement, and while I ’ ve stumbled upon the Marshall model, I just can ’ t seem to find a size 13 Wide EE anywhere! It ’s as if they ’ ve vanished into thin air, leaving me with a heavy heart and a longing for those trusty Irish Setters. I PRUCHASED THE MARSHALL BOOTS A FEW DAYS AGO AND ONLY HAVE WORN THEM FOR MAYBE A TOTAL OF 20 HOURS SO FAR. THE COMBINATION OF THE SOLE AND FOOTBED MAKE THEM VERY COMFORTABLE. I bought these boots after I bought a pair of ariats that after 2 months had already started to break down and cut into my foot. Needless to say I returned them and went with this boot. It's comfortable, waterproof which is a must since I 'm a new construction electrician and the electrical hazard safety was a plus. I did n't know what to expect but after 3 years of daily use it was finally time to replace them but if I had too, I could have pushed them even longer. I did n't keep them oiled as I should have so the leather was finally drying out. I replaced with the same boot just different style. Once you find something that works, you have to stay with it. The side by side pictures you 're able to see the wear they take over 1000 days of daily use, even use outside of work. My daily wear boot. Work and play.

I couldnt be happier with this boot. I work on cement 10- 12 hours 6 days a week and these boots have held up extremely well. I am now on 2+ years and they are still in good shape. No rips or tears. I change the insole every 6 months or so. I will definitely buy this boot again.

Since I started working I ’ ve only worn redwing boots because they ’ re study and comfortable. These aren ’ t any different. They require a little bit of effort to get on, but they ’ re really comfy( and also stylish, which is a pleasant bonus). I haven ’ t had to work in them in the rain yet, but I don ’ t have any reason to believe they won ’ t perform as advertised.

I almost exclusively wear 8 ”- 10 ” work boots; it drives my wife nuts. I own many different brands and try to keep with US made products. This USA Georgia Boot Logger is built like a dang tank, but rides or feels like a Cadillac once broken in. The comfort core footbed is different for sure, but it is very comfortable. Because they ’ re multiple layers of leather, break in does take some time, but it ’s not terrible. I do own 3 pairs of this boot and rotate them out. Boot is very stable and have great traction and grip. I do wear other brands too, but this boot seems to be one of my go to, for sure. Georgia Boot knocked it out of the park with this one. I own 3 pairs, myself, and rotate them out. Great boot!

Built like a tank. QC for eyelets seems to be an issue though. Would normally wait a month before giving a review, but mild disappointment expedited this one. Eyelet broken straight out of the box. Not a deal breaker for me since it should not alter function, just easily avoidable so annoying. Well folks, I have had these shoes for several rounds and I love them. They are a good fit, the slip- on feature is great, and the first time out I wore them for a round of golf, a walk in a park dinner out. All in all about 10 hours and my feet felt great. My second pair. They do not replace actual snow/rain boots but get a lot of use. I wear these regularly on rainy days and even New England winter weather. This fit true to size in length but do run a little narrow and will feel tighter in the toe box. I buy the same size as a regular pair of Air Max 90s. If you have wide feet, these might not be for you. The plastic part in the lacing system may cause discomfort for some.
