The stitching is perfect, and the combination of breathable fabrics make the shoe sturdy and I know will stand the test of time. The color way worked out excellent as they match his favorite team( Go Raiders!). As far as comfortability, he states they are 9/10, not being his most comfortable pair but very close. They are easy to clean off and the laces are the perfect length. The only complaint he had was the toe box is different than most of his other shoes and he had to get used to the feeling of his toes springing up with each step, but now it doesn ’ t bother him at all.

I bought this shoe because I had previously used the FJ Contour Jogger golf shoe that had the same sole. The Contour casual has the same benefit of the excellent gripping sole( without spikes) and also the ability to go car to pro shop( not wearing out golf cleats). A good place would be when I purchased these bad boys during my time working at Cabela's 4 years ago. Once I placed these glorious looking fiends on a display rack, I knew I had to have them. And boy am I glad I do. These have been my year- round daily boot, for literally all weathers in Colorado, and I wear them literally every day. The leather has worn in so amazingly, that I forget I 'm wearing them sometimes. I have worn the soles down to being almost flat, now, and have swapped out insoles for some Meindl ones, but man, insoles only do so much. I wear these hiking, Jeeping, running errands, going outside in general, these are what I want on my feet. I have worn these at several jobs, ranging from my mechanic work, to the tarmac as ground crew for an airline, and they are still solid, no tears, rips, anything!( there is some stuffing from the belly of the airplanes when I was stuck on my knees, but it does matter to me, they still look great!) They are such amazing boots, that I base any other boot I try on them. And none have compared yet. You still debating whether to get them or not? Do you like/want to buy multiple pairs of the same boot, or have one that will last through the ages, and all the crazy in between? You wo n't regret these, I guarantee.

These are a great slip- on shoe. No its not as easy due to the SOFT COMFORTABLE top of the heal, better than the harder lip on Sketchers. Yes, these shoes are leather and therefore repel most water, unlike the other brand. I have 2 pairs of that other brand and these are more comfortable, not just for walking but all day use.

My first pair of Chaco's boots- The package arrived on time- purchased 1/2 size up men's fields lace boot. In hand inspection of the boots coloring and construction are excellent. The dark brown leather is blemish free. The feeling of fit wearing thick wool socks is comfortable, no odd pressure points along the upper or side portion of the shoes. Man made foam insert foot bed sits on top of the compressed paper or leather mid sole. The glued on `` Chaco '' rubber sole is grippy and has deep treads for a secure wet stance in the rain. Very comfortable around the calf area because of the elastic cut out design, provides easy flex while walking. Overall a good looking boot.
