I love the color scheme and I love the comfort, I am primarily a minimalist shoe/sandal person, but I needed something with just a little more protection for hiking in areas that are a little rocky and sharper. I Was hesitant to try Chaco ’s because all of the styles that I saw were super thick and very heavy. This new style so far is light, allows my toes displayed comfortably, and feels very natural on my feet. If I Could make one slight change, it would most likely be to get rid of the toll loop and make this more of a huarache style. Other than that, I am a fan.

Bought these for Hawaii. Wore them through salt water, fresh water, over pumic and concrete streets/sidewalks- never missed a beat!! I had to rinse- n- wear and sometimes just kept going as is( depending on our activity for the day); they never failed me once. Through relatively short hikes, long walks, swimming…this shoe never caused hot- spots or blisters. Sizing: I normally wear an 11. 5- 12 so I chose an 11. 5 in this shoe. Perfect! Keep in mind, I ’ m an easy fit for shoes since I have a pretty generic foot size and shape. Extra tip, I normally spray my feet with antiperspirant but these shoes stayed wet for nearly two weeks so odor was never as issue. I ’ d buy again and definitely recommend. Last note, there was an issue with delivery due to UPS, not Keen. However, when I emailed Keen, they responded within minutes. The issue resolved itself. I was just glad to see Keen so “ Keen ” to respond quickly.

At first during the unboxing I was n't that excited when I saw the mid sole( I just spent the last 4+ years in the KEEN SOLR/green with full gum sole/much wider toe box/amazing shoe) wrap up on the toe box. Looks amazing! Performance blows looks out of the water! I had these on from Upstate South Carolina all the way to Saco Montana via RV this year. I got to test these out in all situations and they are great for whatever task is at hand. The foam mid sole and gum sole work as a team keeping your foot planted. On and off is simple. I even slide these on like a crush down heel. No matter the terrain this is a solid platform for your feet, extremely comfortable and they look pretty sweet.

LOVE this sandal. I 'm a woman but they seem to only carry this style as a Men's shoe. I wanted something really sturdy and secure and open- toe. But most of all I was drawn to the cork/ leather footbed on this. Most of Keen's women's sandals are just plastic/rubber underfoot which I do n't really care for. I tried this out in my women's equivalent size and it's a win. Hope Keen will consider offering this style as a Women's shoe someday with some feminine color choices.

This is my husband ’s second pair, although he has not used the new pair yet based on the old Daytonas he loves them. He finds the open toe area is good in the sand as it allows it to get back out with a shake and not accumulate in the sandal. They were a birthday gift, when he unwrapped the box he was happy to find that there were new Daytonas inside not simply a recycled Keen box. Happy beach walking to all from the central Oregon coast.
