I had a previous version of this shoe that I loved and wore until the toe cracked and split. I put many, many miles on them. I am an over- pronator and these shoes are great for me. They have good arch support and a wide toe box. I got the red one and get so many compliments on them.

5 LEONORA LEO
Very comfy. Noneed to walk them in. Love them very much

5 Gail Kohn
I bought these shoes and walked around the block before traveling to London and Paris, where we were walking 5 miles and more every day. The Antoras were comfortable from my first step onward. True to size. Eye catching.

Never fails. This is maybe my fifth pair of Antoras? I 've been wearing them for years. They require no breaking in and fit the same every time. Also hat tip to the marketing and product teams for communicating and going back to insoles that can be removed for those of us who wear custom inserts in our shoes. That was one of the best features of the Antora, disappeared for a while and now is back again! More colours in wide widths and this would be the perfect shoe!

5 Lynn
Very happy! Comfortable, cute and lightweight! Replaced the insole with my own arch support inserts to get better support. amble room in the two box and lots of stability at the ankle.

5 Crickett
Very comfortable and good fit. Look good. Love the color and they are waterproof so they are nice for walking the trails with my dog.

5 K Clock
Thirty years ago I suffered a severe mid foot crush fracture which is now arthritic combined with areas of non- union. I have worn Morrell Moab 3 ’s for many years with orthotics and had the best support possible, but the antora has given me amazing pain free ambulation while walking our rural property and roads, as well as while shopping and walking the dogs. The shoes are lighter weight, still offer excellent support especially mid- foot, with quicker and easier breakover which makes an enormous difference to my gait and comfort. Very durable and true to size. Definitely reccomend!

5 Tdubz
I ’ m a FedEx driver, and these are the best shoes! High top comfort and traction for days. These are easy to run in and honestly make me Run better than I would in other shoes 🤣 10 out of 10! Love the funky colors, makes them even better. I love Merrells and find them to be the best hiking /trail running shoe on the market

5 Sheahasu
Excellent shoe. Having the higher top in comparison to a regular hiking shoe is great. My foot slides around so much less, thud reducing friction and making my hikes more enjoyable overall.

5 Terry
These are great! Better than I expected. I have several pairs of Merrell's, yet this is my first pair of high tops. They were comfortable from the first time I wore them and did n't even need a break in time. They have a nice roomy toe box, and fit well on my narrow feet. Have n't taken them out on the trails yet, but I 'm looking forward to it. Nice color combination too.

Frequently Asked Questions For Merrell Antora

When selecting trail shoes, consider features such as traction, cushioning, and breathability. A good trail shoe should have a durable outsole for grip on various terrains, ample cushioning for comfort during long hikes, and materials that allow for airflow to keep your feet cool. Waterproof options can also be beneficial for wet conditions.

To find the right size for trail shoes, it's important to measure your feet accurately and consider the type of socks you plan to wear. Many brands offer size charts that can help you convert your measurements into the correct shoe size. Additionally, trying on shoes at the end of the day when your feet are slightly swollen can help ensure a better fit.

Trail shoes are designed for a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, trail running, and walking on uneven surfaces. They provide the necessary support and grip for navigating trails, rocky paths, and other natural terrains. Depending on their features, some trail shoes may also be suitable for light backpacking or casual outdoor adventures.

Trail shoes are typically made from a combination of synthetic materials, mesh, and rubber. The upper part is often constructed from breathable mesh for ventilation, while the outsole is made from durable rubber for traction. Some models may also incorporate waterproof membranes or additional reinforcements for added protection against the elements.

Trail shoes differ from regular running shoes primarily in their design and functionality. They are built to provide better traction and stability on uneven surfaces, with features like deeper lugs on the outsole. Additionally, trail shoes often have more robust materials for durability and protection against rocks and roots, making them more suitable for off-road conditions.

While many trail shoes are versatile and can handle various weather conditions, their suitability depends on specific features. Waterproof trail shoes are ideal for wet or muddy conditions, while breathable models are better for hot, dry weather. It's important to choose a shoe that matches the expected weather and terrain for your outdoor activities.
