I gave up on Chatterbaits until I saw a Mikey Ballz YouTube video about the MiniMax. I gave it a try using a Spunk Shad trailer and, I have n't looked back. The combination of a bluegill 3/8 ounce with a Goby Spunk Shad trailer works well at my lake.

I never had the product but it looks cool so I give it a 5 star

4 Fisher_of_fish
I have had this scale for a year, and it continues to work well. To give you an idea of what conditions the scale has been used; I fish 3- 4 times a week, freshwater, from a kayak, and rainy weather does not stop me. I store it in my tackle bag. I routinely use it in the rain, and has been left out exposed to rain a couple of times, though I usually waited for it to dry before turning it on if it got really wet, and I would not recommend it. I weighed a 1 liter bottle of water( 1 kg) and it was 2. 2 lbs, even after a year. Cons: The power button is tricky, takes me several tries before it comes on because there is like a certain way/time it has to be pressed. Also, the metric to lbs is hard to do, so if you accidentally change it to kilo it can be hard to change back.( the good side is you will get really good at multiplying numbers by 2. 2 in your head)* Note, I accidentally bought 2 of these scales originally, and the first one broke after like a month. I have a feeling the reviews for this product will be mixed because their are definite lemons out there. But if you get a good one its pretty good. If not for this it would be 5 stars.

Frequently Asked Questions For Miniature Fishing Gear

Miniature fishing gear refers to smaller-sized equipment and lures designed specifically for targeting smaller fish species. Unlike regular fishing gear, which is often built for larger catches, miniature gear allows anglers to finesse their approach, making it ideal for situations where fish are more cautious or in environments with limited space. This type of gear is perfect for urban fishing, small ponds, or when targeting species like panfish.

Miniature fishing gear is typically used in finesse fishing techniques, which emphasize subtlety and precision. Techniques such as drop-shotting, micro-jigging, and using light tackle can be particularly effective. These methods allow anglers to present smaller lures in a way that mimics natural prey, enticing wary fish to bite.

Miniature fishing gear is often made from lightweight and durable materials to enhance performance and ease of use. Common materials include high-strength plastics for lures, lightweight metals for hooks, and composite materials for rods and reels. These materials help ensure that the gear remains functional and effective while minimizing the overall weight, which is crucial for finesse fishing.

Miniature fishing gear is particularly effective for targeting smaller fish species such as panfish, trout, and bass, especially when they are in a more cautious feeding mode. These species often respond well to smaller lures and baits that mimic their natural prey. Additionally, miniature gear can be useful in catch-and-release fishing, where minimizing stress on the fish is important.

Yes, miniature fishing gear is versatile and can be used in a variety of fishing environments, including freshwater lakes, rivers, and even saltwater areas. Its compact size makes it ideal for fishing in tight spaces, such as small streams or urban ponds. Whether you're fishing from a boat, the shore, or even wading, miniature gear can adapt to different settings and conditions.

When selecting miniature fishing gear, consider factors such as the type of fish you are targeting, the fishing environment, and your preferred fishing techniques. It's also important to look for gear that offers a good balance between weight and durability, as well as ease of use. Additionally, pay attention to the size and action of lures, as these can significantly impact your success on the water.
