The three hooks made it tough to get out in time. Luckily I was able to and the little fella was able to swim away, but I stopped using it after that. Started using fake worms and did n't catch anything else. It's very realistic looking. I 'm going to try to replace the three hooks with a single or just try to remove two of the three.

The reel is bigger than I expected and was prespooled with monofilament line. For anyone wondering the 9' combo is medium heavy power with medium action. Used to have the last model of 10k Saragosa SW. Was too big to cast or hold all day, so sold it and recently bought the 6k Saragosa SW A. Love it. Smooth and light and casts well. That said the 6k has limited line capacity. Fishing for pelagic species off the kayak in SE Florida the 8k or 10k makes more sense so may buy one for next trip down. Hard to find at local stores so online seems like the only way to get one.

Don ’ t know how the rod will hold up but the reel is the absolute best I ’ ve ever owned!!! Super light, quiet drag, super smooth, great handle!!! Couldn ’ t find anything wrong with this reel!! Bought this combo for this year's striper season and could n't be happier. Used 30lb braid, and cast lures all morning and was surprised how smooth the reel was compared to my Penn's.
