I purchased this hoping to complement my 2 hybrid Super Paradym. There is no comparison. I ’ m about a 14 handicap and usually hit my 2 hybrid about 200- 210 yards. The Elyte X 3 hybrid felt like a huge jump in evolution. The feel of the club when you hit it flush is a Rocket. It ’s consistent within about 3- 5 yards off center. The crazy thing is that it has a carry around 200- 210 which for me I never had in my bag before and a roll out to 230- 235 yards. My swing speed is about 84mph so like I said it generates a ton of power so much so that I traded in the 2 hybrid. I highly recommend this club and the Elyte X series of clubs.

A hybrid that does n't want to go left. Without even messing with the improved adjustability this club really wants to fly straight. It's a little on the bigger side and the shaping has a bit more of a small fairway wood feel. It launches high and lands soft which is exactly what I want out of a long- iron replacement like this. For someone still fearful of the lefts, the new cog can let you go even flatter without adjusting the loft, and can still flip the weights to add even more fade- bias. Pretty confident anyone can find a setting that will be anti- left.

I have recently added 4 and 5 OS hybrids to my bag and they are game changers. Not as large as some of the newest hybrids which I prefer. The shape is much more iron like. They are very long but more importantly they are VERY accurate. You also can work them right, left, high or low. I tried out every available brand of hybrid on a simulator and these clubs beat all of them out by a mile. The price is super reasonable and I could not be happier with my purchase. This Iron/Hybrid( Max OS) set is working great for me. I ’ m 62 and benefit from the oversized head design along with Regular shafts. My only concern is the pricing. I work at a golf course so I got my set as a gift from the head pro, but I could never afford these. I realize the amount of R& D that went into these and the hope to recoup monies but the only people buying these are rich, old guys. The rest of us lug around old clubs… All in all, great golf clubs as Callaway is known for, but truth be told, they still need to pay their tour pro ’s.

I was swinging my favorite 8 iron this week and the shaft broke from the handle. The iron hit me in the back. Never broke a club before. I am a tiny thing with not all that much strength. I 've been gaming this 2 iron for the past month or so. Helps when I 'm on a tee box with a narrow fairway and my driver is too risky. Have n't had a complaint yet other than it does launch a little higher than I expected it too. May be a problem on windy days but I have n't had many windy days to test it out. Feels great and the bigger face gives me a little more confidence when standing over it.
