[ My first outing with this chair was on a long walk on a beach at Bodega Bay in northern California. I am pushing 80 with arthritis in both knees. After 20 minutes I needed a rest. Absolutely. But after hiking all day with a heavy pack, it's heaven to sink into a comfy chair at your campsite. They set up and break down quickly and easily, and we love the feet on this chair in particular. Some of the sites we 've camped at were very sandy or muddy, and the Joey felt very stable. I am only 5' 1 and about 250 lbs with my short legs I was getting exhausted form sitting on the bleachers/ benches at my daughter's volleyball games but since I am heavy as well it was twice as bad. The arm rests are adjustable with a cord in the back and the cup holder even have little holes in the bottom so if you spill a drink in them you don ’ t have to worry about it standing and growing mold. The back has 3 levels of recline which are easily adjusted by pulling out the pin and sliding the bar upwards. Another great bonus is that there is a storage pouch on the back of the chair which is removable by unzipping it from the chair if you need to take your belongings with you when if you decide to explore. I struggled to find a child seat option that would work for me. I tested a trailer once and was not a fan, and it wasn ’ t practical for getting around town. One reason I struggled to find a seat that would work is I have a gravel bike, which the geometry made it tricky to find any option that would work.
