VERY Close TIE to the famous competitor GCI Quik E- Seat! Theirs feels a hair more comfy with the slightly more cushioned back. But this DSG beats it hands down for carrying long distances( more comfy) and definitely easier to store( entire unit locks together with a built in strap that the other brand does n't even have).

I 've been looking for a stool, chair or something that would pack small enough to fit in my pack but that I could also use to actually get work done while sitting. Most packable chairs are good for lounging but do n't let you plop down and work on something. it's pretty good. Seems to be made well. I 'll update my review in a few months.

Once you get the hang of it it's easy peasy! Easliy supports my 6' 225lb frame and spins effortlessly. Super lightweight to boot. If you 're considering this one just buy it! I got this last year and I find it so useful. It ’s lightweight and easy to throw in the car if you might need it. It was a lifesaver when an outdoor concert we went to turned out to be much longer than anticipated. I will say that when I sit down, I let my weight onto it slowly to make sure it gets settled properly and doesn ’ t tip. I don ’ t know how else to describe it but sitting down slowly is the way to go. Really useful for my needs. If they had it in pink, I would get another one.
