[ My first outing with this chair was on a long walk on a beach at Bodega Bay in northern California. I am pushing 80 with arthritis in both knees. After 20 minutes I needed a rest. I sat while others continued. After sitting comfortably for over 30 minutes, I rejoined my group to head back. Very pleased with how well I felt. Love the portable weight and overall construction. I 've been looking for a stool, chair or something that would pack small enough to fit in my pack but that I could also use to actually get work done while sitting. It was a lifesaver when an outdoor concert we went to turned out to be much longer than anticipated. I will say that when I sit down, I let my weight onto it slowly to make sure it gets settled properly and doesn ’ t tip.
