These are actually for hiking, but after looking at the shoe and trying them, I took a gamble thinking they would serve me well for my use. These shoes are so comfortable. Doesn ’ t really need break in time. Most leather requires some time( a few days) to get soften. These felt like running shoes, yet offering ankle support. Beware though. They are waterproof and not as breathable as running shoes. So it ’s a little too warm. The soles are soft too. Luckily the Vibram offers more traction and durability than standard running shoes. However, it ’s squeaky on tile floors when wet. Good purchase.

The shoe overall is well build with solid traction. They are sneaker comfortable out of the box but I do wish they had slightly more arch support. I 've had these Leikis for a month now and still love them. I wanted something for urban dog walks that would keep my feet dry in rain and puddles but with enough traction to handle light trails. Perfect for shoulder - season weather when it's wet but not yet cold enough for heavier boots. They 're lightweight and cushy. At the store, I compared these to the Versacore. The Leiki is more snug around the heel and arch, but the toe box is still roomy. The Leiki toe box also has more structure and kept its shape, while the Versacore would crease and press against the top of my toes with each step which I found annoying. I liked the lower heel height of the Versacore, but ended up going with the cushier Leiki which seemed to also have more structure for ankle stability.

I had just received my trail glove 8s and absolutely love them! I have owned every generation since Trail Glove 4, which were my favorites. After Gen 5, it seemed Merrell scrapped the wider toe box of the Trail Glove which severely reduced comfort; the Gen 6 and 7s were tighter on the sides, not to mention ugly. These return to the wider toe box, improved arch support, and it seems they reinforced the sides to prevent tearing( which was a problem with the gen 4s and 5s). Not to mention they look nicer than the previous two Gens. I 'm giving these five stars, however time will tell if they are durable. But for now, I 'm satisfied and highly recommend.

These Trail gloves, while perhaps not as flexible in the sole as some other brands, really feel good on my feet. Plenty of room in the toe box and zero drop adhere to the barefoot style. Also the stack height is just right for me as it protects from sharp rocks. One of my absolute favorite features of these shoes is the burrito tongue. It ’s genius! Typical tongues on other shoes tend to roll to the outside of my feet and become off center, making the. Uncomfortable. Trail Glove 8s do not! Nor do the Vapor Glove 7s. These are a winner for me!

I 've had spine fusion and the burrito tongue makes it so much easier to put shoes on. Back flexibility becomes an issue. The denser sole helps a great deal for long days on my feet. The waterproofing is great for the slushy winters we get here in the Midwest. I typically wear a 2E shoe, so I was pleasantly surprised when this fit well as a 10. 5M. Took about a week to break in, and once broken in, feels great. The traction is awesome, no worries about slipping on the ice. The shoe makes it easier than a boot to take on and off, but I 'd use a boot to shovel the driveway or walk through heavy/deep snow. This is good for walking on icy roads and driveways. I 'm a big fan of Keen's pragmatic sense of style. The toe cap means I do n't have fear of stubbing my toe. Also, it's a great feature when you kick the tire wells of your car to get the disgusting snow that accumulates that after driving for a while and you wonder if removing this snow actually makes a difference performance wise.( But once it drops it feels satisfying like you actually fixed the car.)

Perfect if you want to blend in with the scene, but standout in style! I used these to go hiking, light walks around town, and grocery shopping! They ’ re absolutely as comfortable as my Moabs 2, and it ’s even better that I can wear anywhere with any style! I do suggest a half size up for extra toe space. I accidentally had a grocery cart run over these, resulting in a streak, but I ended up wiping it down with just water and it cleaned up easily!

I was really surprised how much I liked these. They were definitely a bit of an investment for me, but I wanted to get a pair of shoes that I could wear a little more often. I have worn these on a few light hikes on gravel with my dogs, two days in downtown chicago, 6 miles each, and i now understand what `` energy return '' means. These shoes give you some extra `` spring '' in the ball mound of your foot and feel really lightweight. I like the lacing system but I think people will overtighten these if they 're not familiar with how to use it. I have n't gotten them dirty yet - I do n't want to! They 're too pretty.

These are the most comfortable shoes in my closet! I bought the white and turquoise, so I do n't know that this will be the ones I hit the trails with, guess I will need a second pair for that! I honestly am living in these though. The support is unlike any other shoe in my rotation and while it is soft underfoot you are totally supported and stable. No joke I 've worn these for a couple 12+ hour days on my feet and I forget that I have them on they are so amazing.

Excellent fit and feel with the padded tongue giving extra stability and more security over the regular Agility Peak. Also love the quick lace slide and the cushion sole. My normal size fit perfectly. I would like more hunter colors and I love a black sole which does n't show dirt like white. This has become my favorite pair to wear everywhere due to the comfort they give my feet and the overall quality. They just feel great at any pace and any where.

Have worn these shoes a little over a month. Primarily for everyday use. The shoe is attractive and looks well built. The lugs on the sole are aggressive making it great for wearing on snow and ice. The shoe also has amble cushioning. They can be worn all day with little foot fatigue. The fit is true to size. I wear a medium width. The down sides are for me a little difficult to get the shoe on. The loops that are used to pull the shoe on are too small making it difficult to slide on without breaking down the backs. Also the bungee shoe strings do n't seem to stay tight. I 'm considering going to laces. A good value for the money.
