We were at our store to pick up the leg extension attachment for our bench, and picked these up while we were there. OMG, what a difference! Ours didn ’ t come with the rubber grip, but because they are longer, they are so much easier to get on and off the bar.:)

I picked these up at the Bellevue, WA store. I was surprised by the price compared to others I 'd seen online. But I picked up a pair and I 'm glad I did. After I unboxed these I found the quality was very high. The clips that come with this are very heavy duty and high quality. When I went back to Amazon and looked up anything approaching the quality of these dumbbell bars it was more expensive there when I added in two sets of very high quality clips. These weigh in at 9. 9 lbs( probably 10 on a better scale).

My gym's DBs max- out at only 125 pounds each, so I bring these little guys in my Training Bag and put up to 8 45- pound Olympic Plates on each to do Extremely Heavy Bent 1- Armed DB Rows at 360 pounds. I 've been doing this for years and I 'm just now replacing them with new ones 'cuz they eventually bend from the severe abuse that I put them through.( I do INSANE things with them!) Packed securely and shipped quickly, it arrived within a couple of days in perfect condition. It's well made and just what I needed. Two issues- one, as another reviewer commented, the bar comes with what I assume is an anti- rust coating that's a little messy to remove. It would be nice if some instructions came for that. Maybe there were and I just did n't see them. And two- the clerk who took the order told me my email address would be used only to communicate regarding the order. Now a day does n't pass without multiple emails from Dick's and they drive me nuts. I 've gone through the unsubscribe process twice to no avail.
