Very happy! I bought this for a for my “ personal item ”( under the seat) for a flight and cruise with our kids a few weeks ago. Super lightweight and we were able to keep things secure without having a million useless zippers and pockets. Definitely not for every day use, but I was happy to bring a sling bag for daily outings. I brought this bag and a carry on for a 6 night cruise. It was perfect!

I love the size- not too small for short trips/ hikes. Plenty of room and features for just enough stuff. The ambidextrous shoulder strap is a nice feature that allows me to share this with family and friends. An exterior pouch for a water bottle would be about the only upgrade I ’ d recommend, but it was easy enough to clip a bottle to the loop built into the pack without any carrying problems. Highly recommend this pack. Light, sturdy and well made. Can ’ t go wrong with the Osprey lifetime product guarantee either!

[ I had been looking for a sling pack for quite a while before I came across this one. It's amazing! It's not too big or bulky, but a good size to fit everything I need for the day out and about. It's a good substitute to a purse or backpack. The front pocket on the strap is big enough to fit a chapstick or keys, while the inside pouch is big enough for wallet and phone. It's big enough to fit a waterbottle. and I love that you can switch the sides the strap is on. Highly recommend!

[ I like to carry all my important documents, cash, cards, etc. in a waist pack while traveling. I love that this pack has a zippered mesh compartment in the larger pocket where I can fit my passport. The clasp is on the side, not on the very back of the belt like other waist packs I ’ ve had. This makes the Day Lite comfortable when sitting down, and I always worry about theft so I like that the buckle is tucked away. The back is nicely padded and the shape of the pack distributes weight well. This is a very thoughtfully designed and durable pack, as expected from Osprey.

I 've had this pack since 2006. It's been on many adventures with me, from backpacking in Canyonlands to training hikes in Teluride to travel through Taiwan. For several years, I used this bag for grocery shopping and going to the laundry mat, when it was often 70 pounds. It's so comfortable that even fully loaded, I can easily dance while wearing it. This pack has survived bear attacks, rain storms, deserts, baggage handlers, and having its capacity tested endlessly. After 15 years, I 've noticed the first sign of wear- a small tear in a seam. I 'm happy with the longevity of the product, and I 'm heartened that I can send it to Osprey for a professional- level repair for just the cost of one- way shipping. The All Mighty Guarantee is one reason I 'm so loyal to Osprey- they did a fantastic job repairing bear damage, and they quickly sent me a set of replacement buckles after I damaged one of mine. I love how comfortable the hip belt and harness are, partly thanks to the high degree of adjustability. If it every gets lost or stolen, I will happily buy the same bag. I barely notice my bag while I 'm hiking, meanwhile my hiking buddies complain about how uncomfortable their similarly priced non- Osprey packs are, or say how happy they are to get them off. I do n't mind how the weight gets divided on group trips, because I know my pack can handle adding on the tent, carrying more than my share of food, and having a few liters of extra water. Spent three months backpacking in Europe upon my retirement, at age 65, with this wonderful Osprey backpack! We traveled in all kinds of weather and used all modes of transportation! Also, have been backcountry camping in Canada, California, and Colorado! She still looks new after a busy 10 years on and off the trails!
