Overall the 505 has been an excellent paddle for me, I have used this paddle for two years as this is my second one. The paddle has great balance and control and the long handle allows two handed. We got a table that came with some paddles that were just the dimple rubber glued to the cheapest wood you can imagine. I hated the feel. I got this one because it had the soft, flat rubber but it was n't as expensive as some of the others. It does the job. The feel is good.
