I had been looking for a knee brace that strapped and would not slide. I ’ ve tried many brands and have had lots of issues with the brace sliding during walks or lifting. With the JK- 2 knee brace, that is exactly what I got. I have rheumatoid arthritis so this keeps the knee stable for walking and biking. I probably could have gone with a 2 XL. One the sizing chart I was between an XL and 2XL, so the XL is a little snug. Overall I ’ m very happy with this brace.

I purchased this product last year as I was having trouble with knee pain during runs, which was new for me. Totally eliminated the issue. It's been one full calendar year with the same Pro- tec brace and I 'm still receiving the same support. I have washed it in the wash machine, air dry and still great support. My son who is 14 and 6' 3 started to complain about knee pain during his basketball and strength workouts in the past few months. I needed something lighter and not as aggressive or movement restricting as my current knee support in my comeback from a knee sprain. After much research online, I targeted the Pro- Tec Gel- Force Knee Support and have been very pleased with the product. It offers great stability and support for my knee with nearly no restrictions in basic knee/leg movement. It is light and the gel knee circle pad provides extra protection for the kneecap area. I have a miniscus tear and I did research on the Shock Doctor 872 knee brace. It gives maximum support and the comfort level was what sold me on buying it. Way better then the standard issue braces that the doctor gives you. The fit is also what made this brace a winner. It's Contoured for your leg with the wider end for your thigh and the smaller end for you knee and calf. The velcro straps made it stay up and not move. The knee cap hole let's you verify it has n't slipped. Since it's a dual hinge you do n't even notice that the hinge is there because it moves so easily with the two pivot points. Highly recomen the Shock Doctor line for any brace needs
