Indeed it is different, the upper is great, the midsole is quite responsive. High quality, high high quality. Go half size up, or at least size up. Worth it I believe! I 've been looking for a non- plated `` do everything '' shoe and this hits the spot. Short runs, long runs, slow runs, fast runs, whatever. I like the overall design EXCEPT that weird lace collar thingy. Honestly if the laces were the same design as the EVO SL( which I also enjoy), it would be a better shoe. I 'm running both the Boston and London marathons next month and I think these will be used for every run leading up to those, and maybe even on race day!

The Superfly Elite 2 is the fastest spike I 've ever sprinted in. I just tried my first pair and what stands out are the greater flexibility and rebound of the 8- pin sole. By comparison, my Ja Fly 4s feel stiffer and a little harder striking the track. The difference is surprising because I 've been a big fan of the 4's. I quit running in my Zoom Maxflys- they 're unstable in the turn. For an all- out 60M, 100M- maybe even a 400M, I think the Elite 2 will be untouchable. The sizing is close to accurate- if anything, it runs a quarter size small.

The fit feels more snug and secure, and overall it ’s more comfortable without losing stability for lifting. It still performs great during weight training, but now has a bit more flexibility and cushioning, which makes it better for mixed workouts and moving around the gym. The design is also cleaner and more modern the 6 was solid, but the 7 feels more refined all around and is definitely worth it.

The sole is very stiff — even with Game- day Pro insoles, I felt ankle pain and couldn ’ t play back- to- back matches. Performance: The close- to- the- ground feel( like V1) is excellent for explosive movement, and the wider toe box is a big improvement over the cramped V2. Durability is still TBD; past ON Pros lasted me only a few months at 8 – 10 hrs/week of play. Looks: Best silhouette in tennis shoes — sleek even in large sizes( unlike the clownish look of Asics Court FF). But the “ Swiss Engineering ” label feels like marketing, not sport- specific design. Bottom line: • Pros: roomy toe box, great court feel, sharp design. • Cons: short fit, low toe cap, overly hard sole, questionable durability. If ON could make the V1 last longer, it ’ d be the perfect shoe. Right now, I only buy them for the looks, not the performance. As for this listing, there is a mistake. For a highly active high school student who spends a lot of time on their feet, these Pegasus 41's are incredible. I originally had worries about them becoming soft, like my shoes from last year, but they are still( comfortably) firm. To start, whatever problems people are talking about, seem to have been fixed. I have used the Rotational 6 shoes for the past couple of months before my season being all but cancelled, and have been extremely happy with them. These shoes are much faster than the SD 4s I used last season, and are about as comfortable as them as well. I 've worn the shoes for THREE hours at a time, multiple times, and have not gotten any blisters or really even felt any discomfort. Even after all of these practices, the soles still look amazing. I would definitely recommend these shoes to others, unless they were new to throwing. The shoes are really fast, even on my school's rings, which definitely are n't perfect. I will definitely be buying these again when my current pair gets worn out.

[ The shoes are LIGHT weight. I could barely tell I was wearing them. The materials feel solid, like a well built shoe. I have a slightly wider foot and the shoes had plenty of space. I like the shape of the sole, not too flat and not overly curved. The color scheme is a little plain and I 'm not a huge fan of solid gray but color has no real impact my evaluation. As far as support goes, the sole is cushioned nicely. Its not overly soft but also not super stiff, probably more on the soft side.

[ There are few times when the shoes style matches their usefulness, but this is one where it hits the mark. These are great for road running and fit in well at the country club as well. I 've worn them for events and when taking off my shoes at the end of the night my feet do n't actually hurt. I 've also been dealing with some off and on plantar fascia tightness this year and these shoes do n't leave me sore after running and biking. Nice product.
