While climbing helmets are catching up with technology and we 're starting to see helmets with MIPS and other tech, I would say this helmet is going to save your bacon from a rock or moderate wall impact. [ Got this for my daughters( 10y and 8y). It's lightweight( lighter than their ABS- shell bike helmets). The band is easy to adjust. There's a notch( unlike the mens' Boreo version) at the back that let's my daughters wear their hair in a pony tail, and the adjustment clips are off to the sides( unlike other brands that use a central dial smack in the middle of their pony tail that catches hair when rotated) and ratchet down to the correct fit as the straps are pulled snug down around their ears and chins. Easy, peasy. Being an adult helmet, there's also plenty of room for growth, which equals years of use. This helmet also has side protection, which give me more peace of mind.

We have been using Evoshield Racerback Children/Womens heart guards for around 9 years now. Due to growing bodies, we always had to replace the shield every 2- 4 months. My younger sister( 16) had to stop wearing the racerback guard because of it not sitting on her chest correctly. We decided to bite the bullet and try this guard around 3 months ago due to her playing premier softball. The guard actually stays up on her chest and does n't rub on her arm as she pitches. Last week while pitching, she took a straight line drive to the chest. If it was n't for the heart guard, we probably would still be in the hospital. I 100% recommend this for any player that plays any caliber of ball. Yes it is pricier than the other guards that are offered, but it allowed her to walk off the field without a bruise. I just wish there was a option that covered the complete chest rather than just the left side of the body. I am very grateful that we found this product and would gladly recommend this to any player.

I did n't know they made a grey one!! Sweet I 'll be buying one soon. I love this product. I wear a petzl strato helmet for tree work, and a Stihl Advance for ground work. The strato is a buckled bike style safety helmet and Stihl is a hard hat type helmet. The `` ninja' mask as I call works with both helmets. I also wear it under my baseball hats. This is my favorite winter work accessory. It makes those freezing cold mornings not suck so much. One of the best features is that it quickly dries. I throw mine on my dash and after a ten minute trip to a different job site it's dry and ready to wear again.

[ I have been climbing for 30 years in total and in various iterations of this harness for a long time now. It ticks all of the boxes in terms of function, fit, and durability, and especially price. One of the things that I like most about it are the gear loops. A lot of brands put their loops too low on the harness in my opinion, which causes gear to hang down around your lower leg. I prefer things to sit higher so that everything is tighter to my body when I move. The harness trad climbs and sport climbs equally well. The only downside to it is the weight being a little on the heavy side. I prefer a 32 inch waist in pants and wear a size medium in this harness, which puts me at the bottom end of the fit and allows me to cinch the waist within a cm of all the way down. This puts the gear loops more towards the front. When you look at the size range for a harness, always make sure to consider that the measurement will be smaller than your waist size because you wear it above your hips.
