Heater over delivered on the Heater Pro Curveball Pitching Machine, it's the single best single wheel real baseball pitching machine I have ever seen. Before delivery I was somewhat skeptical but I was impressed immediately with the construction and the easy of assembly, I fired the first ball out my front door 15 minutes after it was delivered. I will say this, speed 10, 50 MPH at 46- 50 feet is going to overpower most kids under 12, it seems more like a mid 80's pitch from that range so if you have a small cage 50 foot or smaller this is your ideal machine as the kids wo n't outgrow it for a few years. I 've shown this to several coaches and they all said the same that it throws much harder than what it advertises. Great machine and the price is fantastic.

5 Happy Grandma
This Pitching machine was bought for my Grandsons( ages 11& 7) Both boys play on leagues in the summer. This was bought to practice with in the off season. The description is very accurate. It is a very well built, solid machine. Easy to put together& store. The boys are loving it. I believe it was not recommended for the age of 7 but it challenges him and he does well with it. I would buy it again

Bought this machine for my 16 year old son. It arrived fairly quickly and I was surprised at how easy it was to assemble. Took me and my son about 15 minutes. Once it was set up my son mentioned how sweet looking it is, very nice design. Started pitching to my son and could n't believe how accurate it was. We set up at a ball field at 60 feet and it was in the strike zone every time. Speed was nice too, had to keep it on speed 8 because any faster was too fast for my son. Overall, very happy with the machine. Did some pop flies and grounders for fielding practice and was again blown away at how easy it was to use. Definitely recommend this to anyone, and would n't need to spend money on more expensive machines.

5 Michael A.
Recently purchased this machine for my 14 year old son. As I set it up I was amazed at how easy it was to assemble and how nice it looked. After tuning everything in, I pitched a few balls through the machine and was amazed at how accurate and fast it was. It's built very durable and my son absolutely loves it. I also ca n't complain about the price. I saw a few other machines with similar specs that were nearly twice the amount of money.

We bought this machine last year. It works great. We did have some issues with the feeder and had an inner tube go flat. You call the manufacturer and they actually answer the phone with great customer service. The lady I spoke to about the inner tube sent us replacements the same week. The feeder problem the gentleman I spoke to knew exactly what the issue was and waited on the phone until I made the adjustments. They REALLY stand behind their product

A great starter model for my seven year old with plenty of higher speed settings to work toward. Let the machine get up to speed before turning on the feeding mechanism and you will have no problems. Unit is surprisingly accurate. Get a net to catch the missed pitches or you will be chasing balls all day.

Great item Great service Grand loves it Would buy again

4 Grandmax4
We bought this pitching machine for our two grandsons ages 9& 7. It was easy to set up and they were able to start playing with it right away. I was worried the speed of the balls would be too fast but that was not the case. They were able to catch the balls at the higher speeds. They love it.

4 Josht
You get what you pay for. it is a good family pitching Machine.

4 CoachAlan64
We bough this machine a few years ago for my son when he was in little league. It helped him greatly with his swing. Since I have a bad elbow that prevents me from throwing accurately& could n't help him practice, we were able to use this for not only his hitting practice, but you can easily adjust it& use it for fielding pop- ups& grounders as well.( Great for pop- ups!) I used to film his swings& we could see it together& work on his mechanics. It tends to bog down a little in speed after a few dozen balls go through it but just give it more time# an extra couple of seconds) between balls. My only real complaint is that we went to use it after a few seasons& the motor quit working. At the time Dick's was n't carrying them in their stores anymore or I would have replaced it with another. Instead we bought another brand that is no way near as accurate or consistent as this machine was. I think that's what I liked the most about this machine. You could get it set up& it would be real consistent. Find the strike zone& you were good!

kids enjoying using this machine indoors. having a great time with it and learning to catch and keeping their eye on ball without having to go outdoors

5 CNote518o
This is exactly what it says it is. Perfect pitching machine for the smaller golf ball sized balls. My son and I hit wiffle golf balls before every game to get hes eyes on the ball. This machine is perfect for that, indoor or out door. I live in the Cleveland area so its pretty windy and this pitches through it no problem. I enjoy hitting off it as well. The balls have a true flight to them also, you can really hit them far. As accuracy goes its really like any other pitching machine you have to dial it in and it will occasionally throw some bad ones. Which I think is fine, you dont get perfect pitches when you step in the box.

5 Zeldah86
My son loves this machine we got it as a Christmas gift and it was the best purchase. Quality it good and portable.

4 Baseball Mom
My 10- year- old can set this up himself! Very easy to set up/take down. This pitching machine really helped my son over the last 2 years with his hitting ability. This past season he struck out once with 22 at bats. The `` small ball '' helps your child track the ball all the way in. The downsides are machine only comes with 3 balls so make sure you buy extras. Also product says it has a number of settings but I truly do not see much if any difference between speeds/settings.

I have used a lot of brands and models of machines over the years. For the money, this is the best. A great teaching tool not only because it throws accurate and a variety of pitches, but it makes it fun for the hitters while they are practicing.

5 Mustang1
My Granddaughter got her first honest home run in10 and under fast pitch softball soon after her first batting practice using the machine. The machine is solidly built and works great. It is very accurate within the strike zone but does not throw to the same spot twice..

5 Bobby
Performs as advertised with the Lite Flite balls and accomplishes what we wanted at a bargain price. This machine is a quality product, well engineered for quick assembly and breakdown, solid construction with powder coated finish. Only drawback is that it's not effective for defensive play either directly from the machine or from batting practice as the balls are too light to simulate real baseballs.

5 Pops44
This machine is amazing what it does for what it costs. It throws every pitch, lefty or righty, every pitch a strike. I love the Liteflite balls. My kids love hitting them, and they have learned how to stay with the curveball since they know the balls wo n't hurt. Ball- in- the- dirt drills and other defensive drills are easy and effective to do. This machine really does do it all....... and it's portable, too.

5 Ryan1
This pitching machine is the perfect machine for both the beginning ball player and for hitters wanting to hone their skills with curve balls and sliders. The machine was easy to assemble and within 15 minutes my boys( 11 ad 8 years old) were enjoying batting practice. The machine throws strikes and is easy to switch to curve balls and sliders.

We set this up in the finished basement with a catch net behind the machine. Our 12- 16 year old boys use a hard plastic or mini bat with it( the red metal SKLZ bat marks up the walls& carpet!) It is harder than it looks, when you set it up 10- 15 feet away, the ball comes in really fast. They and their friends have a great time with it! Buy the machine& extra balls, skip the SKLZ bats!

Grandson liked this for his b10th birthday. It worked well.

5 Kmiller
I 've bought several machines for my son over the past 4 years. Some were expensive$ 700 to this SKLZ$ 60 one. I love this machine because it makes him react quickly to a very small ball. We use the quick stick to hit with which is only 12 oz., with a diameter of maybe an inch or inch and a half or so. I think it improves hand eye corodination because the ball and bat are smaller. I do n't back up the machine to 30 ft. I put it about 10- 15 feet away from him and the balls come at him faster. He gets so pumped when he gets a hit. Another advantage is we are able to use this in our house in a large room. You could also use in a garage or outside. My advice would be to buy the extra bucket of balls because they fly all over and you can lose them easier. The machine does take a minute to turn on etc., and is n't the most accurate, but kids need balls flying in different spots. I think it is a great training aide for all ages and it is fun. Not bad for the price if you ask me.

I play competitive senor softball, I elevated the machine in my garage on a bureau, anchoring with bath towels to help stop the vibration, as well as with dumbell weights to anchor it a little more, soft toss now has a little height for slow pitch softball pitch simulation, and I hit it into a net. Bought one for my 14 year old son and 12 year old daughter. Together they used it over 60 hours in the last 5 months. Have had no problems. Battery holds a charge as advertised. I am 5' 9 '' and the toss is just above belt high. I my opinion just right. Both my kids had great success at the plate this summer and I give the toss machine a lot of the credit.

Received these in the mail and put them in the machine and it was surely a home run with the kids! They love their new batting cage and the product is great!

5
These balls are nice quality. They are solid with a slight squishy feeling. When used in the heater pitching machine they come out slower because of their weight. If they get wet or damp they are even slower through the machine. My not have enough velocity to make it farther than 10 feet when wet.( wet because the grass is damp) When dry they can go far enough to simulate a pitcher. Not perfectly but enough for back yard practice.

Frequently Asked Questions For Pitching Machine Feeders

A pitching machine feeder is an accessory designed to automatically feed balls into a pitching machine, allowing for continuous practice without the need for manual loading. It typically holds a number of balls and releases them at set intervals, enabling players to focus on their swing or pitch without interruption. This feature is especially beneficial for training sessions, as it enhances practice efficiency and consistency.

Pitching machine feeders are generally compatible with various types of balls, including baseballs and softballs, depending on the machine's specifications. Some feeders are designed to accommodate different sizes and weights, making them versatile for different training needs. It's important to check the compatibility of the feeder with the specific type of balls you intend to use.

Using a pitching machine feeder during practice offers several benefits, including the ability to maintain a steady rhythm in training sessions and improve batting or pitching skills without frequent interruptions. It allows players to focus on their technique while the machine consistently delivers balls. Additionally, it can enhance the overall training experience by simulating game-like conditions.

Yes, many pitching machine feeders are designed to accommodate both baseball and softball, making them versatile tools for training. However, it is essential to ensure that the feeder is compatible with the specific pitching machine being used, as some models may be tailored for one type of ball over the other. This flexibility allows players of different sports to benefit from the same training equipment.

When selecting a pitching machine feeder, consider factors such as compatibility with your existing pitching machine, the capacity of the feeder, and the types of balls you plan to use. Additionally, evaluate the feeder's feeding speed and mechanism to ensure it meets your training requirements. It's also helpful to read reviews or seek recommendations to find a feeder that suits your practice style.
