Very comfortable and fit great. I love a wrap around sunglasses that fits. This is snug but not tight. The arm tips are flexible so they don ’ t pinch, I have a big head. I think they would be just as comfortable on a smaller skull. The polarization looks quality when I held them up to a another pair of quality glasses. These are amazing, decently priced and provided very clear vision and reduced sun glare. They held up to hours of gulf coast water fun and look nice enough to wear out to functions in the evening!

Incredible shades. I started with the Red Sands, which were great. However, since my head is NOT the size of a parade balloon, I swapped 'em out for the more streamlined Pokowai Arches. They fit my medium- sized melon perfectly. I love these things because they 're stylish( translucent gray frames, Hawaii blue lenses), but they are also incredibly light- weight... if you 're after comfort, you simply will not find a pair of glasses that can compete with these. Well done, Maui Jim! Now, it's on me- I need to cherish these, and hold on to them, unlike the 6, 300 pairs of shades I 've lost throughout my life( approximate count).

Although the Bronze glass was amazing, it felt too tight, the frame was squeaky and as it was shiny Black it bounced light into the eye. Really unpleasant experience. Because the Bronze lens was so amazing I decided to give Maui Jim another shot and got the Southern Cross. This pair is the real deal! Lens- SuperThin Glass Bronze lens. Truly unmatched. Blows up the competition with ideal combination of clarity, polarization& color. I tried Costa, Smith and the plastic version of Bronze lens, and this lens tops it all. Anti reflective coating is as good as it gets! Just perfect. Frame- I really like Matte Black frames as it does n't bounce light into my eyes from above. I was a bit afraid the Tortoise frame will do the same, but I was SO SO wrong.. The frame color is just amazing. It complements the Bronze lens just perfectly. It's like the high end TVs that reflect color on the wall to complement the image. It really works and feels great. The frame tone is pretty dark, it does not reflect any light and really gives the pair a premium look. The frame material is is plastic but the texture is just premium. It feels smooth& 'rubbery'. Spring hinges are great and the frame sits relaxed on my face. Unlike the Makoa's that felt unbalanced( the front was much heavier than the rear causing it to slip from the head), this pair feels much more balanced, with good nose& temple grip. I tried on sooooo many before I found the right ones for me. The Ocean frames are extremely light weight, which was the main deciding factor for me. I live in Hawai' i where the sun's always out and shining bright so I needed something to wear daily. The lens are enough to reduce glare but not dark enough to cause fatigue on the eyes. I love how the island colors are vibrantly enhanced!!! The only small issue I came across is that the bridge of my nose is not as prominent and occasionally, when I start to sweat, the glasses eventually slip down. I obviously was n't sweating in the store when trying them on, so that is a possible factor to consider. Other than that, these are awesome!

For some reason, even though I click on the Tortoise with Raspberry, I get Tortoise with Peacock. Anyway I am reviewing the ROSE colored lenses I despise the blue light of overcast days, it gives me a headache. Grey or tan lenses do not help alleviate this. But ROSE do! It is so hard to find a good pair of rose lenses. There is a reason there is a saying about mood and rose colored glasses. I adore my new MJ in all lower sun conditions. As one reviewer pointed out they are not great for high light conditions. For that I have my other pair of MJ's. But I wear these all winter long and on all overcast days. It really helps the mood and keeps the headaches at bay.
