Assembly was definitely not 90 minutes but family enjoyed putting this together as we all participated in it. Agree with another review that it is heavy once filled up and the fact the instructions pointed that out in the beginning. Would highly advise to have it where it will be used before you fill it up! It is heavy and difficult to move so I would n't try by yourself! We added a weather proof bag with another 100 pounds of sand to keep on top and it survived 60mph winds that came through where we live. I will say, I keep it lowered to 8 feet when it was windy and it kept it lower to the ground vs extended to 10 feet. Crank is easy to work and markings on pole are easy to read. Would buy again!

There were even a couple steps where I was not sure where a piece was supposed to go, but when you refer to an alternate instruction the specific location was made clear. So far it is working well.

The rim seems as strong as our big rim on our outdoor basketball hoop. It ’s very nice looking and matches our pool pebble sheen. Very impressed by the huge size and high quality of the pool hoop. Our kids play for hours in the pool at a time and it has held up nicely. The balls do discolor after a while if you leave them in the pool, so best to keep them in a toy locker when not in use. Highly recommend!
