[ This is an excellent grill for camping. It is small enough to be portable but large enough for cooking a lot of food at once. It heats up fast and the heat is easy to control. There are two separate burners. The inside grate is in two pieces and we got the pan accessory so we can be grilling on one side and heating stuff in a pan on the other side. The drip pan is great. You just put water in it and any grease drips right in the water making it so easy to clean up. The regulator is easy to attach and simple so it would be really hard to strip it accidentally. Overall, the best grill we have had and we 've been camping for a long time.

[ This portable fold- up X- Grill by Oniva is great for grilling burgers, sausages, and simple cuts of meat. It folds up really nicely and comes with a handy over- the- shoulder carrying bag. The bag and compact design makes it very easy to take with you if you want to grill things at a tailgate, at the beach, or at a park, for example. The grill itself gets the job done well enough but leaves a few things to be desired. The grates are n't perfectly lined up with the side that holds it in place and it is a little bit wobbly since the grate is also made of three pieces attached together. The charcoal sits very close to the cooking grates so food items cook very quickly and can burn more easily, resulting in things like burgers and hotdogs working out well but not so much for more complicated food items like chicken. Ideally a cover or lid would be a great additional feature to help control airflow and to control how hot the grill gets. All in all, this X- Grill is still a very handy thing to have on hand since it can easily be stored away when not in use. I also wish the bag that it came with had a zipper or a velcro closure because as it is now, it's just a non- secure flap that tucks into the bag, allowing for the grill to slide out if it falls over.

[ Just bought this immediately before we used it for a couple night car camping. Does just what it was designed to, held a heavy, full, cast iron pot over an open flame just fine. Was sturdy as long as it had a relatively even surface to be set on. We balanced it on some rocks( that later we turned into a coal oven) to get it up higher. Folded up nicely to fit perfectly in a bin with other cooking stuff. Would 've given 5 stars if it was just an eensy bit wider, but still worked great.

I have numerous smokers and grills. I enjoy them all but never had a griddle before this. Bought it this afternoon and already I can tell I 'm sold on the nonstick tip and even- heating surface. This thing is great there is some learning on it I had 2 other griddles with no coating, and this is much easier to keep clean. I clean with soap& water and its ready for the next cook no need to oil. Love this thing.

[ The set brought me convenience I did n't think I needed. Firstly, the hat and mitten were a nice touch. After smoking, my clothes, my hair, and skin are all full of smoky smell for days, this was great to protect against it. The accessories were very high quality and I was happy to replace my old tools. They weigh heavy and are high quality. The lifetime warranty is a fantastic touch. The apron itself is heavy set but the best part is how easily it folds into a small, transportable size.

[ I am digging this BBQ set. There are nice slots for each of the grilling tools in the apron. The quality of the tools met my expectations, stainless, but not overly hefty. I got this for myself, but would make for a nice birthday or fathers day gift. Only negative is the inclusion of the hat, which I will never use.

[ I got this a few weeks ago and I really like it. It ’s a very fun set for the bbq person in your life. It folds up great with all the utensils inside into a nice compact tote as seen in the pictures I posted. Great for on the go bbq like at the beach or camping. Comes with tongs, spatula, fork, oven mitt, and a chef ’s hat. Not to mention of course the apron. It is sadly on the pricey side. I would definitely recommend this if the price dropped a bit.

Satisfied Griller
I ’ ve had my griddle for a year and used about twice a month and my top has absolutely no deterioration or excessive wear. The griddle has never seen any metal cooking utensils or abrasive cleaning products or tools. I use only Pit Boss utensils for the griddle and clean with Dawn soap, water and the Pit Boss scrub pad( recommended by Pit Boss). Another tip would be to not use oil( as you would with a steel grill). I use butter and only enough to flavor. My experience is better than most reviews. You can ’ t treat this griddle like a steel top.

Have had this for about 5 weeks, and cooked steaks, burgers, hash browns, eggs,& vegies. The cooking heat range is exceptional compared to my old grill. I bought a laser heat gauge to fine tune the exact heat I want, and it works great. The control knobs maintain the exact heat I want. Clean- up is the best part of this griddle. Start to finish less than 10 minutes, including re- oil for next use. The steaks maintain the juice inside, unlike my old grill, where the juice fell through the grills. I wonder if some of the long- term complaints are due to failure to maintain the griddle with oil and after use maintenance. My only complaint is I waited to long to switch from grill to griddle

How do you make a transportable barbecue? Just ask the Camp Chef crew, they thought of everything. I own the 14 inch barbecue box. It ’s easy to move, just carry it in one piece with large sturdy handle, and locking lid. The infrared system keeps it clean after use, so you don ’ t get to your vehicle dirty. The whole thing( stove and barbecue box) fits in the trunk of my car. I give it 100 stars!
