Great add on for my Camp Chef 3 burner. This is the second one I have purchased as I wore out the old one. I purchase the one burner griddle to go along with it. I 've been using my BBQ grill box with my Explorer for 10+ years. It has been used as an every- day grill, camping grill, party grill, baseball tournament grill, etc... very heavy usage. Zero issues. I estimate that I have prepared over 300 meals with it. The grill box has now worn out( the grate plate below the cooking surface finally rusted and broke through and is coming apart). I just ordered another BBQ grill box and expect another 10 years and 300 meals- thanks!

I purchased. BB30 BBQ for my Pro 60 14 ” stove. After purchase I found that the BBQ would not close completely with the pizza stone inserted in the BBQ. The two tabs that secure the BBQ grate during transport provide an interference with the pizza stone. Without modification of the tabs, these two items are not compatible with one another. The modification was simple for me and I am now happy with my purchase, but not all buyers will have the ability to make them work together. Buyer beware. Camp Chef has been a part of my family for forty years- this is the first issue I have had with three stoves and many accessories.

[ This is an excellent grill for camping. It is small enough to be portable but large enough for cooking a lot of food at once. It heats up fast and the heat is easy to control. There are two separate burners. The inside grate is in two pieces and we got the pan accessory so we can be grilling on one side and heating stuff in a pan on the other side. The drip pan is great. You just put water in it and any grease drips right in the water making it so easy to clean up. The regulator is easy to attach and simple so it would be really hard to strip it accidentally. Overall, the best grill we have had and we 've been camping for a long time.

I was fortunate enough to get one of these in the spring of 2022 and we got it for our camper. This grill has been amazing and has blown away everyone that has tasted the food we have cooked on it. I have made steaks, corn on the cob, breakfast sausage, brats hot dogs, burgers, smoked hard boiled eggs, etc. and everything has come out amazing. I had a friend we were camping with recently tell me the steak we ate off of the grill was the best he's ever had. The first time we took it out was shortly after I bought it and I had n't had the opportunity to smoke it in yet, so I did it at the campsite. It created a lot of smoke and attracted a few campers. I showed them how it folded down for transportation as well as how much cooking surface there is( more sq. in. than my now retired original Jr. Traeger!). They all came back later for a taste and agreed it was amazing. 2 of the 4 campers texted me later and shared that they bought Camp Chef smokers when they returned to home to Montana and North Dakota, respectively. You wo n't regret this grill. The clips that secure the lid closed are great for transportation, and the clips that hold the hopper closed keep the rain and water and the pellets dry. Amazing grill!

Dont be fooled by its size, this grill is built to last decades and serves as a faithful companion is your cooking arsenal. Whether youre at the beach, campsite, backyard or on your tailgate, this grill is perfect for compact cooking and entertaining. Being cast iron this grill retains and radiates heat incredibly well and allows for two grate settings. You can use the legs or if you need a hotter cook just flip the grate over and by lowering it you put your food that much closer to the coals. I used lump charcoal for my first cook and this grill did an excellent job and is easily going to be the perfect side kick to my sous vide cooks that need a sear. The grate is an improvement to the Lodge Sportsman in many ways. First it has no logo which in my opinion allows for more searing space. Second the grates are ribbed which easily help hold foods that are prone to rolling around loke hot dogs in place. The ribbed grates also provide excellent sear marks, which lets be honest, you don ’ t get full on fancy, but a visually appealing meal is always fun. You can use this grill for hot dogs and hamburgers or use it as a hibachi grill and everyone can cook their own meat on it. You can easily use this to roast smores after your cookout providing plenty of cooking versatility while also delivering a fun and entertaining experience.
