I purchased this seat in hopes that it would give me a little more support than the original seat in my kayak. I did n't even remove the old seat. I just inflated the lumbar back( fabulous) I must say and sat it in the kayak over the original seat. The new seat is a little higher on my back and the lumbar area gives me the support for a very comfortable ride. I have had back surgery in the low back area and when I would spend time on the water, I always had back pain. I tried flotation cushions to raise me up higher or behind me to give additional support. Now that I have this particular seat I no longer have to put any additional padding anywhere. I am so glad to have found this seat. Now I can kayak for any amount of time I want. Great buy, great price, for such a remarkable cushion.

I have a regular seat and later on learnt about this lumbar support seat. I ordered one and was glad I did cause after a few hours on the water the lumbar seat definitely helps prevent a sore lower back. I use it in my Advanced Elements Convertible( 2 person) kayak. I would recommend it and trust me you wo n't regret it. Its worth the money.

[ Found the right kayak for me. I ’ m 6 ’ 4 and 235lbs 73 years old. Needed the length and cockpit size for comfort and stability and tracking. Yet can easily carry the kayak both assembled or in the box.( With backpack or straps) Performed well in a protected( calm) salt marsh on the North Fork of LI. It ’s not for windy or choppy conditions but mostly have paddled calm water for last 35 years in hard shell boats so given the portability and performance, might be giving up my hard shell…. third time assembling got it down to 12 minutes!

[ We purchased the Beach Sport kayak for the ability to bring Tippi, our Golden Doodle along with us! We had our maiden voyage in Alamitos Bay, and paddled around Naples Canals in Long Beach California! Tippi loved it and got her sea legs going fine! We love to include her in our adventures, and the other Kayaks did not have room for her. The boat felt stable and solid for paddling in the nice calm bay. My husband paddled Mombo( the name for the new black kayak). I paddled his Coast xt — that one is a pain to assemble,( compared to my Bay ST), but the paddle is sweet and fast. My Bay St started leaking, which is also what spurred the new purchase. I paddled much more than my husband, so the Coast is in pretty good shape — but I noticed a little compromise on one of the folding corners! I might need to repair it before it leaks. [ I absolutely love my new Oru Kayak! It arrived promptly, as promised. I ordered the bundle with the backpack, oar and cell phone waterproof bag; I also added the life vest and safety whistle. My first assembly of the kayak took a bit longer, but worked marvelously. I have taken it out once on the very calm lake behind my house — smooth riding. Can ’ t wait for more great kayaking!!

We love these kayaks! They are the first ones we have ever had and we like the features that they have. Waterproof storage comes in handy for our phones and keys. The straps on the back hold our life vests nicely. The reclining seatbacks are nice as well, except one of straps sometimes breaks free if you lean back to hard. Might have to fix that one. Otherwise we are very happy with them!

I haven ’ t been able to test the kayak out just yet, but it came packaged really well. Pretty easy to assemble, although we did use an electric pump to ease inflation- in a pinch the manual pump works just fine. The backpack makes it easy to lug around and store while not in use. I can ’ t wait to take it on the water with my kids!

I got this double kayak for my two boys that absolutely love to fish, swim and be on the water. It took us about 10 minutes to pump up which is not bad to be on the water paddling around and/or fishing out in the open water for the day. The seats were surprisingly comfortable for a long paddle session and the it was a sturdy ride. It was super easy to maneuver through the water. We ’ ve always wanted kayaks but didn ’ t have the room to store them. This comes with a storage bag that is easy to put the folded kayak back once dry that fits the oars and pump with ease. Amazing!

This inflatable kayak has worked well to paddle in our creek and out to the river with my son or daughter. I am careful to avoid downed trees or anything that could puncture it. We also plan to use it in the ocean and intracoastal. My 9yr old son fully inflated and assembled it by himself. It comes with 2 seats, 2 paddles, pump, repair kit, fins, and a nice zippered storage bag. While it is easy to setup, it does take some time and should be noted that there are a lot of parts to keep up with and the once inside the bag it is quite heavy and large to store or transport. For one person, it takes about 15 minutes to deflate and packup and bw 30- 45min to set up the first few times.

[ After review of multiple tandem kayak rankings, the Malibu Two showed up multiple time so. I bought it and used it for the first time this weekend. I have a cockpit kayak and do n't like the enclosed feeling. Tis is a great kayak. I much prefer the sit- on- top design. The seats offer very comfortable back support. The ability to paddle solo is a great feature.

It took a few weeks before I could take this beauty out on its maiden voyage, but once I did it did not disappoint. I launched it from a local dock on a nearby lake and took my two kids out on what was a choppy windy day on the lake. The stability and handling of the kayak was superb considering I had my two most precious cargo on the deck of the kayak. The lake was extraordinarily choppy with 3' waves, but the kayak was stable and I was able to navigate using some previous skill. It remained a safe and fun voyage although short lived due to the roughness of the lake. The kayak did not disappoint and was beautiful to en- devour. Make sure you know where you plan to store it and how to maneuver it to where you want to store it. At just over 12' long, it is sizable.
