I purchased this seat in hopes that it would give me a little more support than the original seat in my kayak. I did n't even remove the old seat. I just inflated the lumbar back( fabulous) I must say and sat it in the kayak over the original seat. The new seat is a little higher on my back and the lumbar area gives me the support for a very comfortable ride. I have had back surgery in the low back area and when I would spend time on the water, I always had back pain. I tried flotation cushions to raise me up higher or behind me to give additional support. Now that I have this particular seat I no longer have to put any additional padding anywhere. I am so glad to have found this seat. Now I can kayak for any amount of time I want. Great buy, great price, for such a remarkable cushion.

I have a regular seat and later on learnt about this lumbar support seat. I ordered one and was glad I did cause after a few hours on the water the lumbar seat definitely helps prevent a sore lower back. I use it in my Advanced Elements Convertible( 2 person) kayak. I would recommend it and trust me you wo n't regret it. Its worth the money.

I am not sure older kayakers know the value of your product. My wife and I now both have one and after several hours in the kayak our backs do not feel as strained as it did in the past. Being 6 ’ 4 ”( 170 lbs) with 36 ” inseam legs and size 14 feet, I was worried. But after trying the Beach LT out on a lake for 2 hours( 5- 6 miles), I ’ m happy with the comfortable fit with plenty of room and adjustment range left for taller people. Compared to my similar sized conventional kayak( Wilderness Systems Tarpon 120) the Beach LT is a bit faster. But it also tracks less well and is more tippy due to the more v- shaped bottom. Small prices to pay for the easy transport advantages.

[ Hello! I bought my original Oru a little over 3 years ago, and this past summer I got stuck on a submerged log and but the time I was able to get off it, I had created a hole in the bottom of the kayak! I tried to repair it, but have not yet had success. I ’ m going to keep trying! When I saw your sale of 30% off with a free paddle, I took advantage and purchased a new Beach LT! Although I have not yet received the free paddle, which I ’ m hopeful is on its way, I am excited to have two Beach LT ’s( once I fix my older one) in order to have the ability to go out paddling with a friend whenever I ’ d like!
