[ When the shoes were delivered to me, I didn ’ t think I had gotten the correct shoes with the box being super light. To my surprise, the shoes were in fact just this light! With the Air all on the bottom of the shoe I was skeptical on how this would perform as a running shoe. After a few runs outside on gravel roads and inside on treadmills, I can confidently say these are the Best Running Shoes I had ever used! This shoe was made for running! The mesh upper and ventilation all through the shoe tongue helps tremendously when running in warm weather. Adding additional comfort to the bottom of the shoe is definitely noticeable having no pain in my legs after running multiple miles! Since I started running in these shoes, I have had a new Personal Record in miles for the new year! I am extremely impressed in not just the fit of the shoe, but the overall support with the shoe being super light! One thing that I really enjoyed about the inside of the shoe was the additional padding around the ankle and heel to give that extra cushion. I decided to go with my true size of size 10 and was happy I did. The upper mesh material does help give a little extra room in case you are looking for additional room in the width area. The only negative is there is no Gore- Tex or weatherized version at this time, but if these are made, I would be one of the first to purchase! I was hesitant to spend so much on a pair of running shoes, but with the 2025 Tokyo Marathon on my calendar, I thought I 'd take the plunge. I really like the EVO SL and the density of the foam and heard the EVO was simlar. And it is. Not squishy like the Pro 4( which I did n't like). Amazing rocker. Nice lockdown even for my narrow foot( although I had to wear a thicker sock). It's a tad slippery on wet surfaces, I tripped on some wet stairs on the way to the start, but the weather was sunny and hot so no issues on the course( water stops were okay for the most part). I 'm running the 2025 Berlin Marathon and plan to use these again, and have a couple other marathons I might break these out. I think I can get 3- 4 marathons in on these as there's barely any wear after Tokyo( I 'm 5'10 '' and 130 lbs so that might have something to do with it).

I ’ ve used this shoe on grass, dirt, pavement, and track, and it performs great on all. I ’ ve used this shoe since July, so I would estimate 100- 200 miles, and there isn ’ t too much wear. The fit of the shoe is great, love the snug feel. Not crazy amount of traction, but the hole in the bottom( where the plate is) can get some mobility out of the rocker. The DNA flash is very soft in the heel, and lessens further forward, giving soft landing and fast release. This shoe can be used of really any distance in speed. Only complaint I ’ ve had is the ankle bump it has, it gave me soreness one time, but never happened again, so it shouldn ’ t be a problem.

I prefer them to my Saucony Endorphin Pro 4 because I recover faster after a hard workout in the Hyperion Elite 4. Elite 4 is comparably more stable than the Endorphin Pro 4. Excellent upper and ventilation. DNA Flash 2 foam does not stiffen up in the cold. I appreciate the design of the laces and how it makes it harder for them to get undone. Fit is perfect on my slightly wide feet. These shoes do n't get proper justice from some online reviewers and I do n't agree with that. I am really happy I gave them a try and they are permanently in my rotation now until I wear them down.

The only thing that I 'm disappointed in is that I did n't try these until right before the Vaporfly 4 replaces them. I 've been using the gore- Tex trail shoes with Currex high arch insoles for more than a year of consecutive daily running. My warm up mile was light and breezy in this shoe and my speed work was definitely faster than normal. I struggled to run slow in these shoes for my cool down mile- your feet turnover fast in these shoes. I did have to size up a half size from a 7. 5 to 8, but super pleased after just one run. I worry that the 8mm drop is a little too high for me to use on long runs tho, but we ’ ll see.

purchased from nike, not Dicks. But i have seen a lot of non- typical reviews that may dissuade someone from giving these shoes a chance. I have over 300 damage- free miles on these shoes and i am just now looking at getting a replacement pair. not due to damage, but just due to the zoomX foam losing its `` springiness '' which is typical for it over time. I started wearing these shoes coming from wearing nike free's for years and just wanted to give something else a try that is lightweight and without a carbon fiber plate. These shoes will not `` destroy '' your ankles if you are already adept to wearing a minimalist- style shoe. These are not true minimalist, but they are very lightweight, lighter than my minimalist shoes, and have a very low heel- toe drop. Both of these specs can compete with minimalist shoes. Coming from wearing minimalist shoes, my ankles, feet, and lower legs are strengthened to adapt to the less cushioning and stability. If you transition to these shoes straight from wearing `` traditional '' trainers, there will be an adjustment period and you may decide its not for you. That is not a knock on the shoe, but more of a characteristic of this style of shoe. I transitioned to these shoes pretty seamlessly from my Nike frees. Streakfly's are the lightest shoe Nike makes, and extremely flexible. Like wearing socks. This is what i look for in a shoe, and something to consider for anyone looking at giving these a try. It is a very fast shoe, but it will lose its responsiveness over time due to the exposed ZoomX foam. They can still be used when this happens though. I am not happy that Nike decided to add a carbon fiber plate to the new Streakfly's, although Nike did make the shoe even lighter. I uses these shoes as a daily trainer and do not want to run with a carbon fiber plate every time, this can cause injury. i am currently looking for deals on these shoes from other sellers because they are not for sale through Nike anymore and i want to pick up another pair before they are completely gone. Bottom line, if you are someone that is already used to wearing a lightweight, flexible shoe, with low drop, you should really give this shoe a try. If not, there will be a transition period before you can wear this shoe all the time. When i transitioned to minimalist, i went through several shoes of gradually decreasing weight and drop in order to let my body strengthen and acclimate.

Miraculously light shoe! Probably one of the best short- distance racing shoes on the market. Given their durability, I would n't use them as anything but racing/speedwork shoes. But for what they bring to the table I would definitely recommend them to anyone planning on speeding up their 5K times without a carbon- plate!

I just bought my fourth pair. I wear them all the time, short sprints, long distance, ive worn my current pair throughout training for 2 half marathons and one half race. I guess they wear out quicker than average shoe but i keep running in them and rejecting my `` normal '' running shoes that give me calluses on my big toe. My only complaint is it's hard to get my size in the color i want. I get compliments on the neon yellow ones. Just got the guava bc that's all i could find in my size. Make more!

I have been exclusively wearing these invincible running shoes ever since this model was released years ago. I especially appreciate the fit and cushioning. Invincible run 3 ’s fit me like a glove, allowing me to wear them for hours on end without issue or discomfort. I was very disappointed to learn that the invincible runs were being discontinued. One of my favorite so far. Ranks up there with the Asics Novablast but maybe a little bouncier which is a good thing to me. I used to always run in Pegasus, but then I was having problems with the heal counters messing with my achiles. The Invincible puts no stress at all on my Achilles, and is still a pretty fast shoe for a mid- striker like me. Even with the high level of cushioning, it feels stable and is n't as sloppy as the Asics Nimbus was for me. For reference, I have a high- arch foot that is probably on the narrow side, weigh 185 and 6' 1. I 've always worn a size 12 Nike and do with these as well. When I 'm running slowly I 'm a heel striker which feels very good in these, but when I pick up speed I 'm more of a mid- striker which also feels good but not quite the same level of bounciness. I usually use them for 3 to 6 mile runs.

Wow. These are awesome. I ran my last half marathon in the Pegasus trail, and I was less than impressed. I went to the Wildhorse but felt those needed more cushioning. When I started doing road races in the vaporfly, I was really hoping that Nike would do some sort of vaporfly hybrid shoe for trails and I feel like this is it! I took it right out of the box on a 7 mile adventure, with about 2k feet of vert in the first 2 miles and then a downhill 3 mile run on a fire road, before hitting 2 miles on pavement. They performed superb. They are ultralite( 6. 5oz in my size) and have a super wide toebox, which is unlike most Nike products. This means that you ’ re not gon na get any pressure on your toenails and they ’ re not hitting up against the front of the shoe. They ’ re super breathable and the carbon fiber plate definitely gives you a little propel forward. I ’ m so excited that Nike finally got a contract with Vibram because the soles are incredibly grippy. I don ’ t know how this shoe would do on super technical terrain, considering it is a race shoe, so it ’s meant to be fast and agile. But I don ’ t know if it would protect you from kicking a rock or hitting a rock with anything near your ankle. You ’ re definitely gon na feel that. I ’ m all in for taking this on my next race and super excited to see how I perform in this shoe. I love that there ’s no break in time with Nike ever and I ’ m really happy to see that they have stepped it up with their trail running shoes. We needed this!

4th and last pair of Pro3 ’s sadly. Love this shoe!! Pity it ’s gone out of production. Just works, outsole lasts, i( 86kg) get 600km+, great bounce, “ toe off ” and snug feel. You just need to work out the bottom lace fit/ looseness else it can rub on big toe knuckle if too tight. Top race day shoe, not much in it between this and other “ super shoes ”. This outsole just lasts longer. Onto Pro4 ’s, which look great but sadly sound bit softer, less mileage outsole and not getting amazing reviews atm from mates. C'est la vie
