I like it, usually I wear wide but they did n't make wide for this one and it is good enough room in the toe box. It also gives me a boost on height which is always a plus for someone short. Its a good running shoes and short 40 yard dash runs, probably not a perfect one for long distance like half or full marathons. Shoe laces are secured tightly to the shoes, they do n't come off easy once its tied right. The only negative thing is that the bottom of the shoes can add a rubber type material for stability when its on wet floor.

I have both the EVO SL and this shoe, the EVO SL EXO, and while they ’ re both great, the EXO has the stability the EVO lacks( but it is less breathable than the regular EVO. This is a minor point.) If you need a more stable ankle, this shoe is for you. I train daily in the regular EVOs and will now rotate with this one for longer runs. Also, this shoe is just so gorgeous!!! Love the shiny silver. Would definitely buy again when I reach its maximum mileage.

I hate running shoes mostly because I ’ m 6 ’ 3 215 lbs and a forefoot striker and I feel like most running shoes are designed for people who are 120- 180 lbs who are heel and mid strikers. The end result of using running shoes for me is painful ailments like metatarsalgia and PF. I had to resort to low top basketball shoes for adequate forefoot support when jogging. I thought I ’ d try running shoes one more time and went with these top of the line shoes. I love them. They have awesome forefoot support for athletes who want to train by not running on their heels and mids. After all, an athlete on his heels is getting beat by an athlete on his forefoot so why would you want to train for athletics with a shoe that concentrates on heel support? If that sounds like you then these shoes are for you. I ’ ve only worn them a few times so we ’ ll see how they hold up over time.

The alphafly 3 is the best running shoe I 've used. It takes a little getting used to, for the first couple of miles it felt less bouncy/propulsive than the alphafly 2. But in a half marathon or marathon it really stood up. But why the colors?! Some of us just like normal shoe colors...

ATC is a slightly stiffer around the foot but otherwise runs the same as the regular. Does not have the best grip especially in wet conditions. Tounge could be better than flimsy fabric.

[ Could not get these out of the box soon enough! Took them for a quick run and was super impressed-- they feel light and propulsive. I felt like I was moving at a good clip with very little effort. The shoes fit like a glove, go on super easy and feel almost like a spike or sock in that they 're very trim to my foot. I 've previously done some demo runs in the v4s and felt like in comparison, the v5s are lighter and more comfortable. I am also obsessed with the color way, and though I was very excited for the black and white(+ red logo) color way debuted by some elites earlier this year, the red and white(+ black logo) is growing on me. My preferred racing shoe as of late has been the NB FuelCell SuperComp Trainers( v3) but I am very much looking forward to upgrading to the SC Elite v5s in the near future. The one thing that is going to take some getting used to is the platform is definitely thinner than the v4s, and much thinner than the SC Trainers, so I did feel a little less stable than preferred but I imagine this is comparable to other plated shoes on the market and also think my foot is a bit on the wider side so others might not share this experience.
