They are super lightweight, comfy, cushioned but still give you that bounce from the carbon plate. I feel like my runs are lighter and faster. [ I 've had dozens of running shoes in the past and this is probably my all time favorite. Springy, light, comfortable. Considerably more lively than my Boston 12s. Probably destined to last a while too based on the Lightstrike Pro shoes I 've had in the past. Upper so comfortable I took it out for an HM for their second run without issue. I have a somewhat wide foot and historically Adidas shoes have needed a little breaking in around the little toe to work for me. Not so on these, but I could see the upper being a bit roomy for those with narrow feet. Great grip from the outsole, as expected for a modern Adidas shoe. If I needed to come up with a complaint, I wish the tongue was gusseted so it did n't move around when I was putting on the shoe.

What a beautiful shoe! I was very excited to give this one a opportunity as ince i needed a shoe for runnable trails along with dirt/gravel paths. Sizing for me was absolutely perfect, I ordered 10. 5 as always and hold and toe box spacing is excellent. I will have to play around with lacing tightness to figure out that best heel hold but that's the case with most shoes imo. The midsole is incredible and I 'm sure it will take on the abuse well, the bounce and propulsion is entirely new for me, I have never experienced something like this before. It would be a waste to use this for easy/slow runs since the rocker and midsole are clearly for running at faster paces.

I ’ ve used this shoe on grass, dirt, pavement, and track, and it performs great on all. I ’ ve used this shoe since July, so I would estimate 100- 200 miles, and there isn ’ t too much wear. The fit of the shoe is great, love the snug feel. Not crazy amount of traction, but the hole in the bottom( where the plate is) can get some mobility out of the rocker. The DNA flash is very soft in the heel, and lessens further forward, giving soft landing and fast release. This shoe can be used of really any distance in speed. Only complaint I ’ ve had is the ankle bump it has, it gave me soreness one time, but never happened again, so it shouldn ’ t be a problem.

I prefer them to my Saucony Endorphin Pro 4 because I recover faster after a hard workout in the Hyperion Elite 4. Elite 4 is comparably more stable than the Endorphin Pro 4. Excellent upper and ventilation. DNA Flash 2 foam does not stiffen up in the cold. I appreciate the design of the laces and how it makes it harder for them to get undone. Fit is perfect on my slightly wide feet. These shoes do n't get proper justice from some online reviewers and I do n't agree with that. I am really happy I gave them a try and they are permanently in my rotation now until I wear them down.

The cushy craze is not normally my thing because I feel like I 'm falling off of the sides, but I love my Escalantes so much I thought I 'd give it a try. Glad I did! Cushioning is just the right amount of comfort and offers enough feeling of contact with the ground that I need to feel stable. Hope they stay in rotation!

For the last several years, I have had a pair or two of Adidas in my stable. I had a pair of Adios and when those were ready to retire, tried the Boston 12( which I absolutely adored and got so many miles in). I was really tempted to buy another pair of Bostons but decided to try the EVO Sl instead. No regrets. The foam is awesome, the sole is super sturdy and great for a day( but especially wet conditions), and the fit and styling are perfection. Highly recommend for a versatile daily trainer.

Love these shoes. I 'm so grateful to have found a jogging/working out/living shoe for the winter that keeps my toes warm and dry. I went up half a size like the other reviews suggested and they fit great. What I love most about these and my other Adrenalines is how long the soles last. I wear these ten to twelve miles a day most days of the week and it was a solid ten months before my first pair wore down. My Nike's never last more than three months and even my Hoka's are toast after four or five months. The staying power of these alone makes them worth it. My one suggestion? The winter is drab enough- let's hit these with the neon stick! I want some bright green/yellow/orange/aqua for the grey days- all the way from the soles to the laces.
