In enables deep tissue rolling/self massage. The three modes are nice but I have found the first level of vibration to be strong enough in most circumstances. Directions are incorrect how they indicate if device is actively charging or fully charged. Directions state there is an orange LED by charging port. This is incorrect, there are 2 LED ’s only on opposite side by the on/off switch. The one furthest on right blinks blue to indicate charging, it becomes solid blue when fully charged. The 3 LED ’s also indicate what charge level has been set, 1, 2 or 3, although this is obvious. Minor issue for user confusion but would certainly not sway me from recommending this product.

I had half torn my plantar fascial tendon some 20 years ago in a athletic competition. This little tool is really helpfull to relieve pain when it comes back. It does seem to work preventatively, too.( If only I did not get lazy when the pain recedes...). I 've got both orange an black, they are both pretty good. I would say black may be even better when not having an acute pain- it goes a little deeper.

I do n't typically write reviews but today I was feeling like paying it forward. This massage roller is the best out there, and I have tried so many types. I bought one for my son, my husband, my father... you name it. The grooves in the bar help penetrate deep into the muscle and bring blood flow to the area. The handles are superb. The bar does n't pinch your skin, pull your hair or feel like it will break. Superb product!
