I first purchased this over a year ago and found it to be excellent product. It is tight and secure but not tight to stop blood circulation. It has retained the shape after many, many washings. I also had to purchase the Level 2 version after a bad fall and used that for awhile with success as the Level 1 support. Have purchased another as a back up and have recommended this as well as Shock Doctor's ankle support to 2 of my friends, telling them skip the cheap Ace brand which does nothing for your affected area.
